"I think basketball is the backdrop of this show, it’s sort of our home base. The show is never about basketball but I just think that that suit the brothers were in and it feels like that will still be a player if we jump ahead. As will the music storyline with Haley and Peyton, the fashion storyline with Brooke, because I feel like…you know, I have a room full of writers who see this as the chance to rewrite a pilot and rewrite a show with characters that the audience is familiar with. And while that’s certainly true, I do think that there has to be some certain familiarity with the world because you’re taking this big leap ahead. But I think the characters, they could have strayed and then certainly one or two of them will be ghastly different than who we knew them as in high school but there also has to be an anchor to the world. There has to be something that is familiar to the audience and I think that we’ll see that with some of the characters as well."

Joe Davola, May 2nd - '07
"It adds a sort of mystery element to the show which basically gets carried out every year. The first year was who were these people, and what are their connections and the second year was who started the fire the third year and the fourth year dealt with Keith and sort of the murder and stuff like that. So, now it’s going to be what has happened to these people and what has made them become who they are. So in addition to moving ahead with our cast members there will also be flashbacks to show where they’ve been over the past four years but really the critical moments, the moments that shaped them into who they are. So we have a little mystery running through the whole year also."

Sophia Bush, June 7th - '07
"I'm home now, getting ready to go back to Wilmington in a few weeks to start season 5. It’s going to be really fun. We’ve got really interesting things coming up for this one so I think it will be even more fun than 4."

Chad Michael Murray, June 12th - '07
"We're aging four years and I'm still four years older than my character. At this point, I know Lucas has put out a book. It's been semi-successful. Everybody's awaiting the release of his second book, but he's having a difficulty, kinda being honest with himself. And I think he needs to come back to Tree Hill and figure that out amongest his friends before he hurts anybody or does anything improper. That's my belief. And I know that he's now going to be the coach of the Ravens and he will mentor an 18 year old kid who's probably on the wrong side of the tracks. That's all I know right now, we start filiming on the 18th of July."

On June 13th One Tree Hill aired it's forth season finale which for the BL fanbase meant we actually made it and survived the hardest season to date for us. So there really is no better thread to celebrate and party than in the thread that kept the faith alive and kicking through the entire season.

Fan Fic Challenges
Obviously Season 4 has not been to kind to the shippers of Brooke and Lucas. The way the season ended? Not the picture we had in mind. So instead of focusing on this season any longer , we decided to take a glimpse at the future. We posted Fic Challenges not long ago. We selected scenarios that we wanted to see Brooke/Lucas in. As well as 5 word challenges. And just reading fan fiction can be a way to escape a season that so far has been torture for all of us that ship Brooke/Lucas. Diving into a parallel storyline can be almost as rewarding as watching the actual show, maybe even more so at this point. BL Soundtrack

- Heat lightning - Some love-stories never really come to an end. Even in their darkest moments, when all the love and trust should be gone, the connection is still there. Love-stories, that even after painful setbacks and months of bitterness, slowly grows stronger again until the one day when the hearts find their way back… Simply because the two hearts in question belong together.

Love-stories like these are often like journeys. Journeys where the actual road can be seen just as meaningful as the destination. And where the ups and downs, the bumpy parts and the one-way streets, are what actually create the emotional bond and makes it stronger. It might be hard to believe, but these kinds of love-stories actually exist, even though they are rare and hard to come by.

Season 4 has been a difficult road to travel for our couple, but as true BLers we need to believe that this journey will only make the love that Brooke and Lucas have for each other stronger. Opposites attract, and just as when cold air and warm air meet in the summer sky, them together create the most beautiful heat lightning.

Seeing how this season has gone so far, it is hard to imagine them ever finding their way back to each other, but they have done it before and they will do it again. Because people that are meant to be together always find their way in the end.

This soundtrack is their journey captured in music. It’s meant to be heard like a story, where every song is a special piece of the road that they have traveled since the beginning of this season, and will keep traveling until the season ends. A musical ride starting the day that Brooke tiredly whispered that she couldn’t do this anymore…

Accompanied by the eighteen songs of this soundtrack we will travel the road with them. Travel through the initial anger and bitterness that she felt while he pined for her, still confused and hurt. Follow him as he became frustrated and angry too, before they both seemingly gave up and moved on. And then remember with them, the first fragile signs of forgiveness and friendship, before we move on to the journey into the future.

And as Brooke herself said; Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds. When life gets hard, when things change, true love remains the same.

College is looming in the distance, and after that; life. No one knows what the next season will hold for our couple, but while listening to this soundtrack, keep one thing in mind; This is more than a collection of lovesongs and emotional ballads. This is a journey. And sometimes the journey is the destination…
