She could certainly be cast on a CBS reality show! They love Pharmaceutical Reps and people from Southern California. Just imagine Penny leaving in the season finale to go into sequester for Survivor or Big Brother, or Penny and Leonard (or Penny and Amy) bickering across the globe on The Amazing Race.

Looks like production which was set to begin today has been pushed at least one day due to the ongoing contract negotiations with the big three, and then the other two. Unlike past contract negotiations. This time the cast has no contracts in place to show up to work. Contracts agreed upon last year with actresses who play Bernadette and Amy are in place.

Sounds like they could be close to deals... Not as far away as they had been earlier this month...

Production for today was also pushed for another day. Talks continue. No set date yet...

I am sure it will all work out. They have been insisting that they can push production for awhile, and still make the season premiere date.

But I figure it will be only a small delay!

The cast has too much leverage with the 3 year renewal!

Not looking good at the moment. When is the first taping? If they can't even hold a table read until deals are finalized, and if nothing happens until at least next week... I would have to see them having them push the first taping.

It's called playing hard ball, the studio has a lot to loose here so you know they will sign, delaying production is just a tactic, its just not fair for the 'little' people involved in the production and the fans who have paid to see the taping.

Also the main five don't have their contracts because the standard seven years one which they all had and had to show up at work under is finished as of the end of last season, and therefore they can wait to show up until a deal is dealt. Any contract negotiations in years past was ontop of their standard seven years. So they had to show up in years past. Now there is no deal for any of the main five.

Amy and Bernadette are on different cycles, and they were reupped last year.

The CBS three year renewal was contingent on getting the main five to resign. CBS has been known to play hardball but with the three year renewal, the leverage is more on the side of the cast because they know they can't replace everyone. Or not the main three who are the faces of the show. And the very high ratings in both current and syndication, the cast has a hand to play.
