IMO, unless they bring on a new showrunning team, they should put an end to Arrow sooner rather than later. It's obvious that the current writing staff ran out of fresh ideas for the show 3 years ago. How much longer do they want to recycle the same 5 plot points?

I think that's what we'll get. 7 seasons (lenght of Stephen Amell contract) or maybe 8, if the cw is desperate enough.

Yep, it definitely depends on how long Stephen wants to stay for.

So they're really playing the "we won't show who survived" card, even though the whole cast was at SDCC (except Paul Blackthorne).

Although a season with just Oliver, his son, Slade and the canaries could be interesting lol.

They were really tight lipped which made things a little boring.

But from what they did reveal:
Black Siren will be full on villain for the time being

We will explore Sirens backstory

Slade will get a 2 parter exploring his past/present

Oliver/William will have a lot of time together

Michael Emerson (LOST) will be coming in. Most likely to play a villain (Im thinking Helix). The cast was not aware of this and found out when Tvline broke it to them.

David Nykl will continue into Season 6 as Oliver’s friend/mentor/nemesis, Anatoly Knyazev.

Richard Dragon will be coming in as a villain but has not been cast yet.

Felicity will be moving towards Smoak Tech with the help of Curtis.

Samantha was always the most likely casualty. Gotta get her out of the way so that Oliver, Felicity and William can become the best patchwork family television viewers have ever seen.

hate to break it to pple Olicity fans don't want Samantha to die she'll probably be at the hospital think it will be Nyssa that dies
