| I'm new here. But after reading all of the sides and the last 8 threads it seems I'm in the minority. I hadn't read any spoilers for the show until now so I had no prejudgments about any of the new characters. Teddy looks older than Liam's mom and I am as interested in him as I am any of the other adults on this show, which is not. at. all. Ivy, surprisingly grew on me after initially rubbing me the wrong way. And by the end of the episode I saw some chemistry between her and Liam with that whole hand-hold-hug thing they did. S2 Liam is infinitely more likable than S1 and I think his character would mesh well with Ivy who is really pretty. I have nothing against Naomi but I always root for the underdog and it looks like for now that's going to be Ivy. I feel like that could change if the character comes off as scheming and manipulative in future episodes but I don't see how feeling happy the guy you like and his girlfriend are having trouble counts as either. Her crush started at the halloween party when Liam was (a) still single and (b) seemingly emotionally available since she wouldn't have known he was pining away for Naomi. I can't fault Ivy for her feelings, so as long as she's not actively intent on trying to break them up then I can sympathize with he character and enjoy her presence. | |||
