Casting News:

+ Trevor Donovan has been cast as Teddy

+ Dustin Milligan [Ethan] will not be returning for season 2.

+ Matt Lanter [Liam] will be a series regular for season 2.

+ Bitsy Liberman, an attractive 30-something female who will become the leader of the Westside Wives. The role is possibly recurring, and this Bitsy is said to go head to head with Naomi

+ Mark Driscott, a high school senior who will be seducing Annie (Shenae Grimes). He also has an unnamed friend excited about the hook-up. Next on the list is Julian, an attractive beach club front desk employee. Joining him there is the air-headed Diego, who caters to Naomi’s every whim.

+ Rowan, who could either be British or Australian. Reports say that the accent is necessary for this possibly recurring role.

+ Summer episodes! They're bringing the Beach Club back.

Is 90210 ever going to have a summer season like the original did? — KarenMICKEY: Not this summer. But Season 2's premiere episode (which is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 8) will reintroduce us to the Beverly Hills Beach Club. As for the boys of summer, there will be plenty come fall. In addition to Teddy, both Annie and Naomi will have summer flings with which to deal, by which I mean "drop them like third-period French." Their hastiness won't be good for either of them.

MICKEY: Kelly?! She will be his guidance counselor, Rosemary, you perv! Don’t make me go all “Palin” on you. As usual, I’m hearing that Annie and Naomi will scratch each other’s eyes out volleying for the tennis stud’s attention, but that his love will belong to Silver, who returns to feisty form this season. (Any suggestions for who should play Teddy’s Clooney-esque movie-star dad? I’m thinking Peter Gallagher would totally rock it.)

Ausiello: As you may have heard through the 'vine, the teens at West Beverly High will be given a hot summer hangout with the C-dub bringing back the Beverly Hills Beach Club. Much like the original -- which was a favorite hangout of Kelly and Brenda, as well as the place where both Brandon and Dylan worked -- the new beach-side club will feature a bevy of hot new characters. I mean, it's not really a beach unless there’s some skin to burn, right?

Question: Is Dustin Milligan not returning to 90210 at all next season? --Becky
Ausiello: Nope. We'll learn in the Sept. 8 season premiere (via gratuitous exposition) that Ethan decided to stay in Montana with his pa.
