I hope Season 2 features Carlos a lot more. I am drawn to his character more than anyone. He's so endearing.

The fact that she's referred to as a captain and not a paramedic crew member seems significant. There can't be two captains on the same crew, so how does Tommy Vega fit in? Will she be in a separate house, or could she be replacing Michelle?
911 Lone Star and Liv Tyler has always seemed like a strange pairing to me and her character isn't all that popular and the Iris storyline never really integrated into the main plot. Post S1, Tim Minear said they'd never intended for a romance between Owen and Michelle, which I never really bought as they seemed to be doing a "will they or won't they" by numbers in S1. Unfortunately, there was no chemistry between Tyler and Lowe and nobody seemed remotely interested in them as a pairing. I think Michelle could be departing very early on in S2 with Gina coming in to replace her as the EMS captain. Maybe Michelle is a COVID victim - it would show the impact of the pandemic on first responders and frontline employees. Maybe her departure will be tied to the storyline with Iris. If Michelle is leaving, I hope they bring some conclusion to Iris' storyline, I'd hate to think of her being left in the homeless camp during a pandemic. If Michelle is leaving, it also makes me worried that we'll see less of Carlos because she was the only character about from TK that he shared any significant screen time with in S1. I am ambivilant about losing Michelle, I'd hate to have less Carlos. __________________
