Preview: War is coming in 'The 100' season 4, episode 5

There isn’t often cause to be happy on a show like The 100, but this week we’re treated to the full power of Lindsey Morgan’s brilliant smile.

Monty is, once again, the MVP of the episode. Why wasn’t he on the list, again?

Bellamy and Echo have a confrontation.

In Becca’s lab, Eric! Jackson gets to be the voice of reason.

Pike may be gone, but his wisdom (?) has not been forgotten.

There’s a frustrated weariness to both Clarke and Bellamy this week; both are visibly fed up with Azgeda’s war-thirsty way of life.

Every season, The 100 finds new ways of exploring the question: What is one life against the survival of the entire human race? This episode sets up more than one potential future dilemma of this nature.

Clarke isn’t the only one whose way with words will come in handy this week: Bellamy will also find cause to break out his motivational speech superpower.

This episode sees the return of both Niylah and Ilian, both of whom interact mainly with Octavia.

Expect to spend your one-week break between this episode and “We Will Rise” theorizing wildly about what will happen next!

In parts of the trailer for this season, Bellamy is with Roan in his rover. I wonder if Clarke and Roan reach and agreement at the end of episode 5 is something like Bellamy replaces Octavia as Roan's guard and way to make Clarke keep her word that she will save the Azgeda folks as well.
Also, Bellamy can murder Echo if he wants to

And how true is it that Clarke/Niylah do it again and Bellamy/Echo happen?

Not true at all, to my knowledge. Which is not to say that neither of those things could possibly happen, just that there aren't any spoilers out there (at least none that have been posted on this forum) that say either will happen. Niylah will be in the next episode, but she's interacting with Octavia.

Death predictions? Anybody (and maybe everybody) other than Clarke, Raven, Bellamy, Monty, Harper, Murphy, Emori, and Echo.
