It's the sweeping staircase that doesn't scream 'castle' to me, it looks more like a palace IMO? I can't think of a castle I've ever seen that has an entryway like that or a staircase out front to invite the enemy up to your front door. There's also a platform at the top of the stairs where presumably some weirdo stands and gives long, draw-out speeches about cult-like stuff.

This is also the first time I've ever analysed a building on this show, so that's new?

They are on the Holiday Filming Break now, i think they start again on Jnauary 3rd. With 6x10. Cant wait for 6x11, hope Jason Posts something About Bob directing.

Lol, I think "castle" and "palace" are basically synonyms.

Like it doesn't look like they're doing any kind of well-researched historical building style. It looks like they're doing a "castle" as in like an orange and gold CGI version of Cinderella's Castle from Disney World. Fancy sweeping staircases and turrets and banners and whatever.

Castle: a large building or group of buildings fortified against attack with thick walls, battlements, towers, and in many cases a moat. Palace: the official residence of a sovereign, archbishop, bishop, or other exalted person.

Fight me Fuzzy!!

Ugh I would love a teaser or something, but at this point even the teaser would be super spoilery so I guess it's ok to wait for a trailer. I don't know. I have no idea what to expect.
