From the pictures and the spoilers I gather Kat decides to convert her car for environmental reason. She doesn't even know Patrick is in the class when she goes to make her case to let her join.

She starts out determine to prove that's she just as good as the boys. But she doesn't have the best luck with her car getting her cover in oil. All the boys tease her about it and Patrick offers to help. She refuses, but later goes over to talk to him. That's when she accidentally spills the oil on him and he takes this moment to take off his shirt to pick her interest. I think the first try she can't get the car to start and all the boys think it's funny but him. I do think he gives her some pointers, and she works hard on completely her task. And the second time around her car does start to work and that's why she looks so happy.

I just wanted to tell you that I agree with you. I think this is what happens too or at least how I hope it goes down.

So I was thinking when are Kat and Patrick going to have their first kiss. And I wonder is it going to be like they have it impulsively in the next few episodes and then it becomes the elephant in the room. And then in the season finale, they have a passionate argument and then kiss again.

Or is more like they have a bunch of almost kisses and it's almost like a battle of wills who kisses who first. What I mean is like that episode of That 70's Show, where Eric and Donna both want sex, but they are seeing who cracks first, meaning who has the power in the relationship. But in the end Kat and Patrick can't take it anymore and it's not about power anymore. And they both just kiss each other at the same time.

Here is a quote that talks about any kissing in the future. It doesn't give anything away really it just teases.

I don't want anything to be rushed, but I don't want it drawn out forever. There needs to be a good balance.

Considering that the "season" is only 10 episodes, I really hope something is happening by episode 7!!

Hmm, does this mean that Kat's grade was too good for what she did then? That would be interesting.

Well episode eight is the fall dance that Bianca forces Kat and Patrick to go to so she can go with the soccer captain. Which I'm looking forward to so much because I love those moments where couples see each other dress nice and just have the wow moment of love.

Which gets me thinking, that Patrick reveals his feelings in episode seven and it went well. But things are a bit weird in a good way because they don't know how to act around each other.

And episode eight they don't want to rush anything, so they choose not to go to the dance perhaps. But Walter won't let Bianca go unless Kat does, so they go. And they are both nervous, but calm down after seeing each other dressed for the dance. When they get to the dance things go ok and then they slow dance and maybe some kissing.

Oh I'm looking forward to Patrick going over to the Stratford house. It's going to be hilarious when Walter meets him, and when he finds out it's Kat Patrick has come to see.

I can't wait to see Walter's reaction...especially when he notices that Patrick has a motorcycle. No daughter of his will be allowed on it

Yeah I think Walter will freak when he finds out about Patrick and his bike. And I think at first he will be against the idea of Patrick being in a romantic relationship with Kat. But then he will see a moment between the two of them or something Patrick does changes his mind and he gives his blessing. But he lays down the law for Kat just like for Bianca.

I know Kat is very principled and rebels by being uptight about school to a certain extent but its almost too much to have her complain about getting good grades. We'll see how it turns out.

Sounds like Bianca will learn a Valuable Moral Lesson by the end of the ep.

really looking forward to Walter meeting Patrick for the first time. His head will explode with trying to lock Kat up in her room forever as fast has he can.

Yeah I can see Walter trying to forbid it, but forgetting how strong headed Kat is. And that no one tells her what to do, the only one that can stop her seeing Patrick is herself.

Yep, which is what makes her a good character, she clearly knows and could write a thesis on why she shouldn't like him, but she does anyway despite all her academic credentials.

Have ya'll seen the new promo for the entire season? You see Patrick say, "You want me to kiss you," and lean toward Kat, as if they're going to kiss. Hot.
