Thanks for posting. It's good that the media are reviewing it on its own merits and not just moaning about the movie (which of course was awesome). It seems like this could be a fun series for sure.

Yay! The new opening is awesome.

The spoilers sound good.

Excited for Patrick/Kat.

Here is a really great article. It has some spoilers. I put the title for the seventh episode up, but I'm not sure how to go about what would be important to put in the spoiler section. Suggestion from people who have dealt with this would be great.

10 Things You Need to Know About 10 Things I Hate About You - E! Online

Also here is some reviews. They seem pretty good nothing really negative.

ABC Family’s high school comedy is hard to ‘Hate’ - BostonHerald.com

10 Things I Hate About You: Nothing to hate in ABC Family's risky '10 Things' - Show Patrol

Also Tonight: I Like '10 Things I Hate' - Roger Catlin | TV Eye

California Chronicle | '10 Things I Hate About You' is Likable

Don't forget the show airs tonight! Make sure to make it over to the television board to give it a review. I hope you like it! I also hope to read from those who already have seen it from itunes too.

ETA: Yeah, Patrick/Kat is something I'm looking forward to see develop over the series.

Thanks for those reviews. I'm really surprised and pleased that it seems so positive. I thought for sure critics would bitch about the movie even if the series was cute. So I'm glad to see that they are taking it on it's own.

Nothing new, but there was some write-ups on some of the epsisodes in the TV Guide Magazine Highlights.

"PILOT"

Quote:
There's nothing loathsoome about this cute, clever remake of the 1999 movie featuring two polar-opposite sisters. - TV GUIDE
"WON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN"

Quote:
Mystery in leather, thy name is Patrick Verona! The Object of Kat's vexation asks her to a Filthy Souls concert. - TV GUIDE

Cute and Clever seem to be the words used a lot for the Pilot/show.
When I read the second one I'll admit it made me giggle.

Falling in love with a couple before the show even started is so amazing, I mean Kat and Patrick were just the obvious couple to fall in love with. I am really excited to see where they go.

frodobaggins07 - Thank you for that! Yes, I'm excited to see where they go too. I think people put too much on if you know who going to end up with whom that it isn't fun anymore, but I don't agree. The road to get there is what really makes it. They are going to be fun to watch getting there. It's a relief to see that the people who are playing the characters have great chemistry with each other. They did a good job.

preenad - Yes the whole half hour thing threw me off too when I first heard about it. I'm not a fan of comedies to be honest. I like dramas because you can have more range in emotions in my opinion, but with comedy you don't get to do it as much or at all, but after I saw previews for the show and how they were handling the whole thing I was thrilled! No laugh tracks, real sets, etc.... I was overwhelming pleased.

Spoilers have been really dry for right now. I was hoping to get more when the show has started, but nope nothing so far, but don't worry I check every single day for any.

Here is the title and a description of Episode Five:

Quote:
Episode 1.05 : Don't Give Up

Determined to become an active environmentalist, Kat enrolls in shop class to convert her gas-guzzling car into a biodiesel vehicle. As the only girl in the class, Kat realizes that she needs to do more than fix cars to break the stereotype that girls can do anything boys can do. Will she be able to show the guys up in class, including Patrick Verona?

Meanwhile, Bianca becomes lab partners with Joey to raise his chemistry grade so he can play football. Her motivation to help him? Chastity promises Bianca the chance to take off her Penguin costume and give her a spot as a real cheerleader for Friday's game, if Joey plays. However, her task proves to be much more difficult than she originally thinks as, Joey has other ideas, believing he should pursue modeling over football.

I hope they don't make Kat out to be better than all in the class especially Patrick. Its cliché and cheesy. I'm all for girl power, but when someone boy or girl out does someone who has done something for so long like Patrick seems to have done with this class it really stupid in my opinion. Does it really need to be done? Really? Shouldn't Kat be above all of this? Or should I say I wished she was? I hope I'm wrong about it. If it turns out that they are all beginners than I'll chance my mind about it, but I don't think it will be. I have a feeling that this is the class Patrick is most good at just like in the film version he was good at wood shop if I recall.

Yeah I want her to get oil all over her or something as she tries to out shine him. And he can see she's struggling and he gives her some small help or suggestion. And in the end she succeeds her task for herself not because she wants to prove something to him. But like they share a small smile or she smiles to herself, she looks over at him while he's not looking and smiles and then isn't looking when he looks over at her and smiles.

I'm looking forward to the episode where she accidentally stabs him in the foot. The banter between them that episode should be lots of fun. And his face of pain should be something to see. I'm curious to what they did to get them put into that situation and what she finds in his bag that puts him in a new light.

I just know Pat and Kat are going to be one of those couples it's fun to watch them play off each other each week.

I hope to see lots more of the dad in coming episodes.

Poor Cameron having to wear that pink shirt, it looks way too tight for him. He does look adorable though. And poor Bianca for her lie about the older guy getting what looks like her innocent teacher arrested.

Sadly it looks like this season will only have ten episodes. But from how good the pilot did I expect it to be back for a second episode.
