Darn it. It's not surprising though. My guess is that similar to last year most events will be cancelled if they haven't already been that typically have had large amounts of people at them.

it's best to err on the side of caution until this pandemic is under control. Widespread and consistent lock downs a year ago might have put us in a better place now.

Well, that just was not likely to happen everywhere in the U.S. at least last year. Remember, Trump said that he wanted the U.S. to open on last Easter Sunday, along with calling this pandemic a "hoax". I think that it will be years until the San Diego Comic-Con returns to having close to how many people it had before regularly attend.

Well, Trump is a mentally retarded, stupid, delusional, pathological lying sociopath that knew how dangerous the virus was and lied anyway, so of course he said that. I personally have hope with the three vaccines and having a President that knows what he's doing. So I think by next year Comic Con should be back to normal.
