I'm in Canada. Your best chance is to import the Blu-Ray edition from Hong Kong 'cos they're compatible here in North America.
Blu-Ray regions are different from the DVD regions. Don't get the DVD edition. __________________

Oh. I don't even have a Blu-Ray player. Thanks for the info though. I don wonder though what is better about having a Bly-Ray player than just a DVD 1.

Blu-Ray = HD
DVD = standard Now for recent movies or tv series, the difference isn't that bad but for any movies older than say 20 years, please go blu-ray. It'll be more watchable. If you have a HD tv, use Blu-Ray to release its full potential. Blu-Ray player isn't that expensive anymore. __________________

I watch DVD's on my XBOX 360 & the picture isn't bad, but if Blu-Ray is better I'll try to get if it's no longer expensive.

Blu-ray players cost around 100$
For the blu-ray itself, similar price than dvd. __________________

To my big surprise, Netflix has Rurouni Kenshin anime season 1. I started watching it finally. So far Kenshin is always as badass and dorky as I remembered from the manga. The rest of the story is so-so. I don't remember how exactly does Kenshin end up living at Kaoru's in the manga but the anime version is....meh. It's like wtf you're letting some stranger living here? Or maybe just simple hospitality from that era?
