Comics - Post Counting for This Board

You may have noticed the announcement about the posting requirements that have put into effect site-wide. If you haven't, the basic gist is that each board is required to average 15 posts per day to stay open. For the month of January, this board averaged a bit more than half of that requirement, an average that I would obviously like to bring up. On that subject, if you know anyone who has been thinking of posting here but hasn't, please work on getting them to do so. Every little bit helps, and it only takes a few people to make a big difference. If you can think of any other way to increase board participation, let me know. No idea is too small, and any help is much appreciated.

It's not much, but we could post up links for discussion about the heroes graphic novel. It's a weekly deal, so it should be somewhat regular. This can even include links to the downloadable version (PDF format). It's drawn by aspen studios, so you know the art is there.

I've been watching episodes online during my lunch break, but I never think to check out the graphic novels. Bad Heroes fan.

I'll say. I've already informed the writing staff. I hope your weekend is free, they have some things planned for you.

You might also find it help to browse through Comic Book Resources - Daily Comic Book News, Reviews, Previews, Commentary and Message Boards the day or so after the episode airs, as they interview some of the writers about what's happening. Very informative.

I did an informal survey of the posts for last week, and by my count, we averaged right at 19.7 posts per day, which is a big improvement. So far this week we seem to be averaging around the same thing, so hopefully we are keeping the momentum going.

We were down around 16 post per day for a couple of weeks, but we were back up to 19 for this last week.
