Painkiller Jane???

Hey, I was wondering what you guys thought of this comic? I'm interested in reading it now, because I saw they're making it into a series on Sci Fi (Friday nights starting in April).

On the tv side, I'm intrigued because Kristana Loken is starring in it. As far as the comic goes, I saw they have a crossover with The Darkness...has anyone read that?

I read the Darkness crossover, but it was forever ago. I haven't read any of the new series, even though I have a couple of the issues.

I just read an article about Loken being in the show. Did you know that Loken is going to be a Co-Executive Producer...pretty ambitious of her. I hope she succeeds.

Me too. I like her, and I find the character interesting. I hope this is another Sci-Fi success.

I watched the show last night. It was decent, but it could be better. I hope they either eliminate the voiceovers or make them better.

There's an interview with one of the co-creators of the comic at CBR

I read the first one (out of the new batch). It was OK, but it didn't really hold my interest. I wanted to watch the show, but never got a chance. Is it still on?

It still comes on Friday nights at 10/9c. I haven't watched any since the second episode because I haven't been home, and I haven't gotten a chance to watch any of the Monday night reairs.

If I don't get to see some more episodes that's what I'll have to do. Everything's quieting down now, so maybe I'll get to check it out this week.

Sad news for Painkiller Jane fans. Looks like the show got the axe.
