Ohh, is that who they are? Sorry. I don't follow the Canadian teams that much. Just my Flyers, and they lost to the Penguins and got eliminated from the NHL playoffs. But at least the 76ers are still in the NBA playoffs and the Phillies are in second place in the NL East. Oh, and the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

Yeah. Philly fans have a lot to cheer about this year & it's a toss up if Toronto will even beat the Wizards in this series to play Philly in the next round, but hope they do. Today is vital of course for em. Enjoy the weather if it's nice out & you can. Here in the Portland area we've had plenty of sunshine & it's even gotten into the over 26 degrees Celsius this week.

Thanks for stopping by. My Independence was OK. I bought a few fireworks, though only lit off about a handful of em. In the the Portland/Vancouver area we do have plenty of fireworks shows & 1 was on a local TV station, so saw some of it. Getting ready for a heatwave this week.

I've been having a good summer, thanks! It gets humid in the Philadelphia area, but I much prefer summers to winters, which I hate. If I could choose, I'd either live in Florida or California, but I can't afford to move there. Not unless I win the lottery.

Oh, and Matt? I finally posted on the hangman thread. Sorry for taking so long.

Well, here it rains so much or it easily can in general when it's not June, July, or August & I suppose September, so summer is usually something most look forward to even more of course, but this year it was just too hot mostly to really enjoy the outside as much for myself at least. We have gotten some rain today which is a welcome at this point. Why don't you like winter? Do you get a bunch of snow?

I'm glad you got some rain.

I live in Pennsylvania, so it gets really cold in winter and we get snow and ice, which I hate. I wish I could live somewhere where it was warm all the time. I loved San Diego when I was there for Comic Con. If I could live there I would.

There other places like Florida that's closer than California for you. I don't mind snow usually, except that local libraries & other places close around here during it if it's just an inch or 2 I think of snow on the ground.
