I made my kids watch YuGiOh with me.. and Pokemon in the beginning.

Now I watch Foster's Home for Imaginary Pets without them. Oh and Avatar. Love that show!!

Actually, I bought Woody Woodpecker for my 5 year old, thinking she might watch it once in a while....the first day she watched it for 6 hours straight. She did the same thing the next two days. I think I found a new vein of entertainment for her.

Oh, believe me, I watched all sorts of cartoons when I was little, and I continue to watch them now. I loves me some Looney Tunes.

I looooved Tom and Jerry. And the Looney Tunes. Although, I hated the Road Runner because he always won...it was annoying.

My younger step-brother would watch Pokemon, and somehow got me hooked on it back in the day. Although, it was just the show, not the cards or anything.

The only animation I own are anime. LOL Ninja Scroll and Samauri X and Visions of Escaflowne. Love those.

They are all older animes. And Samauri X and Ninja Scroll are for adults. I love them. I can't watch Renounin Kenshin (sp?) which is the series that Samauri X is based on...because I watched Samauri X first. It's so much darker and sadder than the anime series. It's a prequel.

Onion, great classics....you know I've always loved your taste in Anime.

Yamiko, Robotech is the culmination/bastardization of 3 distinct Anime series from Japan into one continuous (?) series in America....Macross, Mospeida and Southern Cross. It's really a great story. I've been thinking of starting a macross frontier thread on your board....but not so sure about it.

Anyone remember watching the old pink panther cartoons?

Oh yeah, the picture is from a chilean volcano that was erupting last week.

Na, not really. They weren't the best anime out there, not by a long shot, but it was cool anime, especially for the 5-10 year old range at the time.

The anime has deffinitely grown with it's audience though.

Currently, I've seen Macross, Southern Cross, Mospeida, Macross II, Macross Plus, Macross 7 and I'm watching Macross Frontier.
