If I was rich enough to drive a tank around without worry about getting thrown in jail, then I'd be rich enough that I wouldn't care about gas mileage.
A tank would be too much temptation for me though. If someone cut me off I'd probably blast them...  __________________

They usually have a 40 gallon tank, and it's diesel, so it's better on gas. Also, if you have a tank, you can go cross country, no need to deal with winding roads, just go straight to work, anyone has issues, that's what the gun's for.

What about parking? I doubt tanks could fit in to those underground parking spaces.
Speaking of tanks, I remember one of them almost destroyed a (pedestrian) bridge while driving down the freeway. Unfortunately, that freeway was one of two major roads that lead in to town and elsewhere. And since they closed both directions, it took people about 7-8 hours to get back home from what is usually a 30 to an hour's drive.  And this freaking left hand cramp will not go away!  |

Also, it's a tank, park it where you want, it's 40 tons....are they going to tow it, no. Boot it? No. Feel free, though to park on someone else's car. I just saw a wild video about a guy that took an M-48 out for a stroll in california, try to knock down a pedestrian bridge, tore up like 4 campers and 3 other cars....the cops could do nothing to stop him until he got stuck on a median divider. __________________

I'm not sure, they never stated a date. It was one of those CourtTV, most amazing crashes ever shows.
He was still trying to get off when about 12 cops jumped on the tank and started sticking guns into every hole they could find. __________________
