Aww poor girls. I use to be scared of thunder when I was little too so I can understand their pain. You and your family going anywhere for the 4th?

I love thunderstorms, always have. But my younger sister was always afraid of them.

I enjoyed Wall-E. It was a nice love story. I saw it alone though. I see almost all movies alone.

My mom and I went to watch Wanted the other day (she heard from her co-workers that the movie was a "must see").

Needless to say, while my mom has her own preference of movies (I was surprised that she wanted to see it, since she wasn't much of an action movie kind of person), I think this is one of those movies where it's okay but not worthy of me watching over again and waiting until the DVD comes out.

That's pretty much how I felt about it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting.

Well, we pushed back our usual Memorial Day family get together until the 4th of July this year, but it wasn't as awesome as usual. Neither of my sisters could come, half of my family got sick and didn't come, and when we got to the house, most of the people there were just friends and co-workers of my uncle's new wife, so I knew almost no one...plus, my sister couldn't find a babysitter for her 3 month old, so I had to take her along...so, instead of spending the night like normal, I drove 2 and a half hours back home. The upside was that I got to see a lot more fireworks than I would have because I seemed to hit every town I went through right at the finale of their shows.

I want to see Wanted, but someone told me to wait until it comes out on DVD.

I learned how to play Wii on the 4th, or at least Mario Kart. And then Guitar Hero. I pretty much suck. And then of course, I got to blow up stuff later after a BBQ.

Jenny, I like your icon, so cute! Is that your cat?

I'm back! Just fair warning.

So, I went to Rockford, Il (drove) for the 4th. It was an OK time. We saw friends up there, so it was entertaining. We saw Wanted and Hancock. Wanted was exactly what I thought it'd be, 90 minutes of my brain being off and watching violence. Hancock was keen. I'm hoping for a sequel of some kind.

Good to see everyone's 4th was pretty good....how are we all doing otherwise?

On the third I read Twilight, since I've been hearing so much about it all over the place. I was going to read the second and third books in the trilogy, but my stupid sister only gave me the first and third books.

That's a bummer...because the second one is the best one, IMO. Hope you get to read it soon.

Welcome back, Jerry!

So do you call that a good thing or bad thing. I'm not overly impressed by it but at least I didn't leave the theatres mad

I'll have to wait until at least Saturday, because she is on vacation in North Carolina until then.

You could rifle through her room.... Though, I'm disappointed....you're being sucked in.

Yamiko, I'll consider it a good thing. It delivered on something that a person needs every once in a while. Straight, to the point. This is what we're going to do.

Hiya Kara.

I could, but I talked to her yesterday, and she told me that she had the second book with her.
