Identification of an old cartoon
Hi there,

Hmm, that looks like from the 1920/1930s era given the way it's drawn. Where did you get that picture from?

I found it in an old 35mm silent film as a "parasite frame" and we have no idea why such pict of a cartoon is in a movie with no relation.
We do not know too the time of the reissue of this film, that is why we'd like to identify the date of the cartoon. in france i obtain few information saying that it could be a Fox cartoon of the 50s, or , because of its poor draw, a cartoon from Aesop's fables (Van Beuren) of the 20s . So, if you agree, the 20s is around the period. anyway, thanks for your help. Regards |

Hmm, if it's during the silent film era, then it would have to be between the 1900s and 1920s since the "talkie" era didn't come about until the 1930s I believe.
