I'm glad I'm not the only one who was upset about DL's death. He was my favorite too, and DL/Niki were my favorite couple. But I thought I was the only one. And not to sound too much like Jesse Jackson, but almost all the characters they've killed off are minorities. That's not a TV show, that's a horror movie. Ok, I'm off my soapbox.

I'll probably watch S2 anyways. I do want to see Kristen b/c she's always so good. And I do like most of the surviving characters.

I actually never noticed the whole...minority thing until you brought it up. I really don't think it was intentional. And hey...the last two who "died" in the finale weren't a minority.

I was kind of hoping that eventually we find out that Noah has some kind of power. I mean, he deals with all of these other people who have powers...and his only defense against them is his knowledge about them. Bring on the twist!

But you don't find that twistful to begin with? The fact that regardless of his lack of powers, he still finds a way to beat this people time and again with nothing more than his own keen mental awareness?

I like him not having powers better. It makes him more awesome if he's beating these people on his own.

Yeah, but who's he married to? Is it another super? Will she stay in the comics, or is this how he shows back up in Season 3?

It would be great if she shows up in Volume 3.

And I can only assume that she's another Hero/Villian...how else would she find him?

Oh yeah, I'm sure. I just think too many people die on the show to begin with. It makes it hard to get attached to the characters, JMO.

Do you need to have read the S1 comics in order to get the S2 ones? Or are they just like one shots?

Most of them are one shots, or series arcs of like 3-5 individual comics. A lot of them give you some backstory as to how things happened on the series, like how Niki stole the money, there are bits on Adams live between 1400 and present day, etc.

She doesn't have to be powered in order to have a brain like Noah.

I only read a few when the first season was going on. I'll have to check out that one about Niki though.

Smart people can draw lines. Who killed him? How does the killer think.....what would that killer do? These are the same thoughts that a detective uses when trying to find the body in a murder.
