Too bad it's so far away & haven't flown on a plane before. Driving to San Diego would take about 17 hours from here. Been to Disneyland by car before, but was a long time ago.

San Diego is still on my 'bucket list.' I don't know when it's going to happen, but I'm attending the show at least once. That, and Dragon-Con. Those are the two comic conventions I've vowed to attend before I die.

SDCC is on my bucket list too. It would be a dream if I could make it out there but I doubt I ever will.

Have you seen the show ''Comic Book Men''? 1 of it's cast members is afraid to fly, so apparently the cast missed that convention this weekend. They were scheduled to appear with Kevin Smith.

i've seen bits of it when it aired after the walking dead. it's a shame the others missed it because it is one of those lifetime experiences to an event covering what they love and enjoy.

but, i can clearly understand that fear of flying since i haven't been on a plane in nearly 11 years. like many, i hope to also make my way to sdcc once in my life. i've already been to nycc the last 3 out of 5 years so, i really want to head out there. it's a shame how fear can stop you from doing things. maybe, i'll get over it too...eventually.

May be it is ''once in a lifetime'' if the cast wants to meet certain people there, but they'll be chance to go that convention again likely for them.

I tried to watch it, but it wasn't that interesting to me. I was a bit disappointed.

I have no fear of flying, so the only thing keeping me from going to SDCC so far has been lack of money.

Oh. It is expensive just to ride a train or bus from Portland to San Diego, so probably won't make it to 1 of them.

What else has been going on? Have you read any new comic books recently?

I did try out a new comic book store. It wasn't that good. Is it too much to ask for as cool a comic book shop as Midtown Comics where I live

Did end up picking up the new Action Comics #11 and some back issues of Superman and The Adventures of Superman.

No. I try but I can just never stray away from Superman

Although I am gonna dress up as Supergirl of the new 52 for Halloween well sort of. I'm gonna add a little something. I like her suit but I'm not big on showing skin the way that suit is I'm gonna change it up some.

Cam, I might, not sure yet. I've all ready got several ideas if I do work on pics.

What I'm leaning more towards is the New 52 version. I'm not a big fan of skirts so I wouldn't want to do those older models.
