We took a break. It actually took about 4 weeks to do, we did a couple of hours, then let it heal, couple of hours, let it heal.

Same here. My bladder would explode if I tried to sit for 14 hours without a break.

A lot depends on the individual person.

If you swell a lot, and scar up too much, too quick, you effect the way that the ink goes into your skin, and it might not look as good, though I admit, that Kat's tat's are looking pretty great.

ANITA BLAKE CONVENTION SPECIAL

Dabel Brothers Production has announced a pencils-only

version of the first issue of the comic-book adaptation

of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in

Guily Pleasures will be available at Wizard World

Chicago on Aug. 4-6.

The regular version of the book will ship in

mid-August.

The convention special will feature the pencils of

artist Brett Booth.

"We really wanted to offer something unique to our fans

who have waited so long and so patiently for this

title," said Ernst Dabel, president of DB Pro. "And

this book is absolutely gorgeous.

"We often forget when we publish our comics that while

we have had the opportunity to see the artwork at every

stage �* pencils, inks, colors, and letters �* our

readers only get to see the completed product. But

there's something to be said for seeing the original

pencils, especially when they're drawn by someone as

talented and as much eye for detail as Brett Booth."

I want to go. But I have two doctor's appts and work. I'm pretty annoyed. I've decided that God just doesn't want me to make it to Wizard World Chicago.

I'm going to try, but I doubt it'll happen.

Yeah, I didn't end up going. Too many doctor's appts. Plus, I just don't trust myself. I know I'd end up blowing my savings.

You can only blow what you bring with you. That's how I kept from blowing a lot more money than I did.

I know, I thought about that, but I'm sure I would do something stupid like bring my ATM card (in case of an emergency)...and then I'd be screwed.
