Better do Fantastic Four right; the stills I've seen from Roger Corman's "attempt" were atrocious. Molded rubber...

I'm still shocked that they're still talking about Ghost Rider. And still intent on having Nic Cage star.

I think, if they handled it correctly, that Marvel could make a killer horror movie out of Ghost Rider. The whole concept kind of lends itself to the genre. Do I think that will ever happen? No. Do I think that Ghost Rider will ever even get made? Probably not.

It could be cool though....that's all that I'm saying

Hope Ghost Rider doesn't just become a mess of off putting CG like Spawn.

Yes. Spawn was a massive disappointment as a movie....although I kind of liked John Leguizamo's performance as the Clown.

I thought the whole movie should have been done with Spawn as a boogieman. The OGN Spawn: Blood And Shadows by Ashley Wood was rediculously creative in how it barely used Spawn but kept his essence throughout the book.

Portman Up For Lois Lane?

Natalie Portman is rumored to be the front runner to play Lois Lane in the proposed new Superman movie, Zap2it reported. The Star Wars star has been named Warner Brothers' first choice to play the feisty journalist, according to industry reports cited by Zap2it.

The site also reported a rumor that Timeline helmer Richard Donner, who directed the first Superman movie, has replaced director McG (Charlie's Angels) and production has been pushed back to 2006.
YES!

Spawn is the only movie my sister ever walked out on. That's all I know about it.

I hope they're careful with FF.

Natalie Portman as Lois Lane?

I'm definitely sticking with Smallville.

Spawn was horrible. I watched it again on television a few years later to give it another chance; it was even worse.

What's wrong with Natalie Portman? Admittedly, she's not my choice, but it's more suitable than Drew Barrymore.

Richard Donner is back too!

I love Natalie Portman! I think she's a great choice.

But the better news is that McG isn't directing. Thank goodness for that! He would've turned into some corny, pubescent music video. Garbage.

Any new rumors as to who they're looking at for Superman?

From what I've read, they're still taking a long look at Brendan Fraser.

I like Fraser.
But he'll look too old against Portman.

MICHAEL CAINE IN BATMAN MOVIE?

Both The Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported Tuesday that Michael Caine might be playing Alfred in the new Batman movie.

Caine would join Christian Bale, who's playing Bruce Wayne/Batman, in the Warner Bros. film.

Michael Gough had played Alfred in the four previous Batman films.

Production on the film, directed by Christopher Nolan and written by David Goyer, is expected to begin this spring.

Yeah, that's kind of

Michael Caine would work! With Bale and possibly Kurt Russell/John Malkovich, we'll finally have a Batman film loaded with quality actors.

Still hate the rediculous Intimidation Game titel, but I'd rather settle for an awkward title than an awkward movie with (hypothetically), diamonds used as pucks in a hockey themed battle.
