So anyone see 'Amazing Spiderman' yet? I saw it today and I liked it more than I thought I would. In fact it's way better than the Tobey Maguire version.

so far, i've been hearing mixed reviews on the amazing spiderman. if i don't see it by next week then i know i'm not going to see it in theaters. more likely i'll wait for rental.

I've been hearing a lot of positive stuff about it so far.
It stayed true to the comics unlike the other films. __________________

I saw it and I loved it! Andrew Garfield was amazing as Peter Parker/Spiderman I went in not expecting much since I was such a Tobey Maguire/Sam Raimi fan but I was pleasantly surprised and can say that I enjoyed it more than the original Raimi films and Garfield is my favorite Parker. Emma Stone was also flawless and I like her character way more than MJ. All in all i'm glad I gave the movie a chance because it's def. my fave Spidey film.

I also liked that they kept it more true to the comic books.

I actually thought the Toby Maguire versions lacked in those two areas. IDK maybe it's just me

That's a good question. I don't think I can answer it since we got something way better in TAS which is basically what Spiderman 1 and 2 should've been.

LOL no I'm saying I don't have anything better. With TAS being surprisingly good it was actually better than the Toby Maguire films.
