I mentioned this before the crash. But buying and putting together is one of my least favorite things about collecting.

Yeah, that is the crappiest part. I wish I could just make the comics I want appear through the force of my will.

Actually, I meant buying and assembling boxes were my least favorite part of collecting. I had a brain fart or was tired when I posted that.

You're boxes don't come pre-assembled?

My guy assembles them for me.

If I buy them from the shop they come pre-assembled, but if I buy them through the mail I have to assemble them. I kind of like assembling them though.

I guess I could have them do that. I never thought of that. But I've never seen them do it for anyone else though.

You buy boxes through the mail? Aren't they a little...big?

Yeah, that's why I hardly ever do it. Their bulk makes the shipping pretty expensive. I only get them through the mail if I get a really good deal.

I buy mine from the shop. It's also a pain to lug them home, even though it's only a few blocks. Sometimes I get lazy and grab a cab.

That's why I only buy one at a time, after I need them.

Same here. I wait until I absolutely need another box. And when I do, I usually have to shift my whole collection around.

Well, mine are in alphabetical order, so when I get a new box, I've got about half a box worth of stuff to insert in the other boxes, which means moving everything else up.

I wrote down all my comics so I could make a complete list, but I still don't have them in any kind of order. I'm planning on separating them by company/publisher.
