Collections

What kind of collections do you have for your comics? I am wanting to start a collection up. I really like Batman, X-Men, Masters of the Universe, and etc. I just don't know where to start so I was wanting to know what all everyone else liked so I could get an idea.

Which Sci Fi books do you have? That's a genre I've been missing out on. My collection is mostly comics that deal with action & or violence, except for probably Fathom.

Here is a partial list of my collection. It's the ones that I've had the time to put online.

I think I have just about every genre. But I started collecting X-Men first. Then Vertigo. And then it just expanded from there.

That link's not cooperating. How much Vertigo books do you have? I have much to collect.

Odd. It's working for me.

I don't have a lot of Vertigo. Just a couple of series and some random issues.

It was working for me because I was still logged on. I've fixed it now so it will work right.

It wasn't working for me yesterday, but it's working now.

Cool collection. I might have to do that myself.

It's kind of tedious adding stuff to your collection unless you have big runs of issues, but otherwise I really like that site. You can type in a character and it will pull up every issue that he/she has appeared in. That's how I found out that Wild Dog had a run in Action Comics.

The only comic that I've collected...and this was when I was younger...was those Archie comics. I intend on reading Fables one of these days after a recommendation from a friend of mine.

Manga wise, this is my collection:

Confidential Confessions (complete series)
Mega Tokyo (1-5)
Inu Yasha (1 & 2 only. Not a huge fan of the series thereafter)
Rayearth (6)
Crayon Shinchan (2-8, 9-13 in English. 28 and 46 in Japanese)
Saikano (1-4)
Ranma 1/2 (1-4, 9-12)
Model (1)

I don't collect manga as much as I used to (and haven't caught up with the new ones in recent years) but there are still some titles that I am hoping to save for like:

+Red River
+Sensual Phase
+Rest of the Model series.

I hope you enjoy reading Fables. It hasn't let me down yet. Jack of Fables is pretty good also, if you become a fan of his character, which his arrogance makes it hard for me to do.

Jack of Fables just amuses me. I don't find him that off putting. But I've only read a handful of his issues.
