I knew about it; I just had to work. My sister mentioned something about Atomic Comics in Norman giving out free Wolverine figures to their first 100 customers on FCBD. Wish I could have gone to that.
While I'm here, I thought I'd post this link to a preview of issue #2 of volume 2 of Lions, Tigers and Bears, one of my higher recommendations. __________________

I just bought that issue today. I think it's a good series.

It is. And I really like the art too. It is deceptively simple looking and cartoony.

Yeah, I got a free batman...looked like a pre-made warhammer piece...weird.
Wildcats nemesis 9 came out...I'm certifying it as cool....cuz it is, and I love the art. __________________

Cool beans! Another Goon reader. That's awesome. I just read in Wizard that there is going to be a black and white Goon comic coming out with assorted creators telling stories in the Goon universe.

Now that sounds awesome. I'm thinking of buying a loose (is that what it's called?) issue of The Goon to have Powell sign at DragonCon. I'll have to hit a comic books shop soon. Maybe I can pick up some Magic cards as well. hehehe
Is Uncanny XMen any good? Is that something I can jump right into? |

I wish Powell would come to WW Texas. I'd love to talk to him and have him autograph some stuff. Sure I have his autograph from the Fancy Pants edition, but it's not the same as getting him to do it in person.
