Watchmen

I just got this graphic novel last night and am on chapter two. I would love to discuss it with others. Thanks.

I'll have to find my copy and reread it. It's been years since I have.

I read somewhere that there is a theory that each character represents a different part of the huamn psyche...I find that really interesting. I'm on the part now where Dr. Manhattan leaves earth after the tv show incident. I really like how there are different bits of media in there, like the bits of "Under the Hood' and such. I am enjoying it more than I want to admit to my boyfriend, lol.

I just watched the movie, and I was surprised by just how closely it followed the graphic novel...at least insofar as I remember it. The only major change I noticed was the ending...which you haven't gotten to yet.

I just read in Entertainment Weekly that Watchmen was at the top of the bestseller list.

when Nite Owl 2 and Silk Spectre 2 go to the prision, its gets out that the nite owl was the one to do it so people thinking it was the original nite owl, who was known to be Hollis Mason. Anyway so a bunch of thugs get mad and find his house and kill him, brutally. they brain him with his golden hero award. Anyway the sad part to me was that it was halloween and a bunch of kids come to the door and find him. It was heartbreaking to me.....
