Thx for the new thread.
I'm kinda on the fence about signed comics. You know, I love getting the guy's autograph, but should we ruin a book for it? I'm not so sure. Especially given what he charges. __________________

It doesn't bother me a bit, if I'm getting the autograph in person, because odds are that I'm not gonna try to sell that comic anyway. I never pay extra for an autographed comic.

I considered it before I started going to the conventions. Just about everyone I've been interested in getting an autograph from has been to the Dallas con.

Do they sign comics for free?
Also, I saw aspenstore.com has a signed CGC graded (9.4) Civil War 1, sketch variant on sale. 299.99  __________________

Yep. I've seen people bring like 50 books for one artist, so some of them limit the number. Michael Golden was the only artist I saw that charged for autographs at all. He'd sign 5 books for free, but if you wanted more than that you had to buy this hardcover book he was selling.

As long as you took them out of the bags and boards, most of the artists would sign them. I saw Andy Kubert sign at least 150 books from one person.
