Archie Comics Appreciation: Cuz nothing' changes in Riverdale

We used to have a thread for Archie and the gang, but it got pruned. I like everyone else read them when I was a kid. It's the first comic I remember reading. I was a long plane flight and an attendant gave me a copy.

Anyone else love Archie and Co.

I remember reading Archie as a kid. Or I probably went for the Betty & Veronica ones.

Who's the other guy? Not Jughead. I can't remember his name.

He's Reggie, a nasty rich guy. He's not a very major character. But he shows up now and then.

I love reading Archie comics. I would have to say my favorite person is Reggie. I love the one where Reggie and Betty start spending more time together and kind of start dating. Then of course Archie and Veronica realize what they are missing and of course Betty and Reggie stop dating.

I think I still have a few Archies and a couple of Betty and Veronica comics. Unfortunately, they are in bad condition.

I doubt anything has changed since your childhood day, Cynthia.

Sunnyolaf, that sounds like such a cute story. I'll have to find it. Or hope they redo it.

I think they were everyone's first love. Our grandkids will probably be reading them.

Oh I absolutely loved Archie comics when I was younger. My dad had this huge barrell full of comics in my room, and I think that roughly a third of them were Archie, Bettie and Veronica, and Pep Comics. Even though he told me never to touch them, I think I read them all 20 times.

Jughead is pretty funny. I was always begging my mother for Archie comics. So I had a pile of them. But they were thrown out a lifetime ago.

Me too. At that point I never even thought about keeping them.
