Yeah, I've seen the previews and read a little about the movie's plot. It does seem funny, especially when Jack and Keanu are at the hospital. I wish my doctor looked like Keanu. [img]smilies/in_love.gif[/img]

Yeah and the mini reviews they have during the commercial surprised me as one of them was: "Keanu Reeves is brilliant!"

You dont get that often from the critics. Cant wait to see it.

It's not always critics.

For some reason the public at large tends to dismiss him. They see The Matrix, Johnny Mmenomic (SP?), and think he's like that in every role.

They don't really bother to see KR's other movies (which proves he has plenty of range.)

In defense of some critics, Roger Ebert's given him some good reviews. And Lisa Shwarzbaum at Entertainment Weekly raved about his performance in "The Gift".

Yes, everyone I know thinks Keanu is like that. And even when they see him performing well, their preconceived notion of his acting is already so strong that theyre blind to his brilliance.

Yeah, some critics are fair, but the majority...

Wonder if Keanu will ever do something that merits an Oscar?

I really have no clue. Shes supposed to be pretty renowned though...but really, whenever I see adverts I focus on Keanu and dont notice much else. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]
