Do you know what's the one thing I didn't like about this movie? It's the ending.
It seems a little rushed to me and could've been done much better if you ask me. The entire part after David brings Joel to the loft where he's holding Polly... I would have liked more Joel/David interaction and beating around the bush, not just David saying to Joel how he was angry at him for going away to Chicago, Joel pissing him off, David almost killing Polly, Joel aplogizing and then shooting David after which him and Polly escape. Not to mention the very last scene which just zooms out of the crime scene with Joel doing the voiceover (which is only 2-3 sentences long). I would have preffered a different closing shot, maybe of Joel at the graveyard finally forgiving himself for his lover's death or something similar... I dunno, I love the movie, but the ending is what bugs me about it. __________________
