Yeah, I deserved a bit more sulking, but I love you for just being glad to see me. Coming back here was the BEST thing for me in so many ways, and I'm so happy in my life now. Ya'll are like the heart of Kimmie.

Watching my DVR'ed Rookie Blue last night, I miss my Bos and Faith so much.

I saw a commercial for that Karen, and I said the same thing. And, I added that it was a Third Watch wannabe show.

I really miss Bos and Faith the most.

Oh, come on now. I freaking love Rookie Blue and it's not like Third Watch at all beyond being about cops.

I miss Bos and Faith, too, of course. But they had a completely different relationship than Sam and Andy do. For one thing, neither Bos nor Faith was the other's training officer.

For another, Rookie Blue is filmed in Canada. Can't a girl get one show she loves that is filmed more or less on home turf?

I definitely didn't mean to insult you guys or the show-I've only seen the commercials, and they make me miss TW and that's why I said it.

I mean, obviously, I know you didn't mean anything by it.

But I do love Rookie Blue quite a lot, so I had to come to its defense.

Rookie Blue is a good-quality cop show, like Third Watch was. But it's set in a whole different universe. For all the real crime that happens in Toronto, for all the gangs it does have, and the drug running, and the sexual predators and all of that... there's still a whole different vibe to the city. Makes it easier to take.

Hm, well I saw a commercial for it last night that didn't at all make me think of TW, and I'm going to watch it right after Burn Notice. Not just cause you love it, but because the commercial really impressed and hooked me. You loving it does give me more interest in it though-cause you have good insight.

I think, in a way, I was threatened that it was possibly better than TW, and I just need to see that it's simply different.

Oh, I don't think it's better than Third Watch, no. Not really. I don't think it's trying to be, mind you.

I can't think of an episode that didn't end "well," if that gives you an idea. They certianly deal with difficult issues, but the camaraderie and romance carries the day for the most part. Even when they have crises of faith.

Yes I did. I wasn't taking to it at first, I was a bit lost, but by the end, I was hooked. I like Luke and his girlfriend, and then one other lady especially, but I can't remember her name. I'll catch he name next week.

Can't think of any questions I had off the top of my head.

Don't get me wrong, I like Luke. I really, truly do. I think he's a nice and decent man. I just don't think he's the one for Andy.
