I think it was a little weird for me. However, I saw something deeper there-like a deep understanding and caring about each other. Friendship. It was really strong. And felt new. More intense. __________________

Oh, now I'm really curious.
Because you hate change just as much as I do. No offence (obviously). It must have been pretty darn good if you were cool with it. __________________

I don't really know how to explain it-it was like it was safe, total acceptance of one another, and neither of them acted like it was dangerous.
That made me feel that they aren't going to push the issue. Mind you, they might and just freak me out. At this point it was just intimacy (knowing the other) and closeness. __________________

Kimmie, I believe I forgot to thank you for the new thread. Excellent title, by the way.
And thank you for the explanation. That makes sense to me. I kinda can't wait to see that. In theory, they make sense. Because Aidan's other romantic relationships have all been disastrous and Sally's a basket case, so who else are they going to be with? __________________

Yes, it can't be said enough.
Thanks for the new thread, Kimmie. I think it might be funny to have two couples in that house. __________________

I think it would too, Sunny. On the BBC they're a trio, aren't they? Or was that just an ad?
Thanks for the gif Karen! Sigh I miss our people. __________________

I miss our people, but I do not miss that hair on Coby!
Kimmie, the BBC's version has actually been cancelled. Which is to say that it won't air beyond the fifth series (they're called series over there). But it's just as well. On that show, "Sally" is the only one left. Their Aidan and Josh have both died. And their Josh had a Nora, but I don't know what happened to her. Fortunately, our show doesn't really follow the UK model. It's actually a really, really good thing that our show doesn't follow the UK model. I hear their show never had Aidan and Josh be more than, like, allies. I mean, they were roomates, but not friends. Not really. Until maybe the very end, which is just a waste as far as I'm concerned. __________________

Oh thank you so much Sunny.
And whew-I am really glad and relieved we're not like that version. I missed last week's, but saw last night. Everything is happening so fast, it's hard for me to keep up. __________________

I caught up to the one where Aidan reunites with his roommates and the twins' father appears.
I think they were already laying some groundwork for possible chemistry between Aidan and Sally there. There was definitely a moment when they were enjoying the fact that they could touch... It was nice. And Josh deciding that he wants to marry Nora was sweet. It's all going to get messed up, I can feel it. But it's nice for now. __________________

And messed up indeed.
Things are already not going so well. But at least they gave us some happiness. __________________

I have hope that the three/four of them being united will make any misery they go through worth it.
I don't need them to be floating-on-a-cloud happy. That's not really the point of this show anyway. They're monsters. They got together to learn how to deal with being monsters... better? I can deal with bad stuff, so long as they deal together. __________________

I think that's a big effort they're making, so far.
Each of them working together. Sally's new boy toy is a bit of a distraction for me right now. All 3 are talking amongst each other (along with Nora who hasn't been on much) so the focus is definitely the 3 of them, and more one on one. Just two of them at a time. __________________
