Bubble-Head I think it's not that they're super crooked... well, one of them probably is and I can't see how they could yank it out without breaking all the surrounding teeth... it's that two of them are horizontal and one of them isn't completely out either.

Either way, I really am looking forward to having them out. I know there'll be pain. I know about the blood. I'm seriously not looking forward to that, but I'm looking forward to have it behind me.

Nori Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Now I understand.

And I'm glad you're enjoying the Tour. I totally get what you mean about cheering for foreigners. It's just plain weird. We're so used, sports-wise anyway, to defend our home crowd tooth and nail (because, let's face it, none of them get the respect they deserve)... I have that a little bit with baseball.

Mind you, I'm not massively into baseball, but I used to be. When Montreal had a team. Now that it's gone, I am no one but the Red Sox to cheer for. Because, let's face it, I'm not about to cheer for Toronto. But, like I said, my interest in baseball went way down when the Expos left town.

To all the other dashing posters!

God I haven't posted here in forever! I will catch up!

- I'm almost out of boxes, only books and a couple of knick knacks left
- I have a huge crush and so far it's going very well. Stay tuned.
- A friend of my roommate came to visit from Halifax and has been staying with us.
- I'm going to a fundraiser for a short-movie next thursday thrown by my crush (who's a producer) and it's 'Hollywood' themed.
- My kitten adjusted to the move very well

Ok, call me a bad Third Watch fan.... It's ok, do it. Seriously....

I'm a bad fan because I refused to pay $75 for the second season of the show. Granted I only looked at one store, and I kinda found it by accident. There was no price so I picked it up thinking that $39 ish, like the first one was. They ran it through at $75 and then asked why when I said I didn't want it.

Ok, I know that there is sh$@ on TV right now, and since I am being stubborn about not getting sattelite I'm stuck with cable (Persona) there really is nothing to watch but really $75 for a show???? Call me cheap, or

Call me a bad fan!

nori: That's not too bad. I don't mind the idea of paying like 200/year but I think its like around 400? or something at most gyms. It boggles my mind. I suppose if you were to exercise every day it would be worth it...

Anyhoo, there's an actual Pilates studio with pilates equipment where I live and I think I'd like to join. But it would be a couple hundred I figure and that's not including private equipment sessions if I REAAAAAALLY wanted to use them. Mat classes range around 100 for I think 15 classes? I forget. Around there.

bane Yeah I totally understand wanting to just get it over with. I think I worried myself so much about how much it might hurt. I was relieved when it wasn't. And quite happy about it. Of course the good mood could also have had to do with the nitrous oxide I opted for

Jayness This is a strange little club, originally for the residents of an apartment complex, but they opened it up to the public to use, so it's not like a 'real' fitness club. I think Dad says he pays $30/month to go, so my $52/10classes is kinda high. On the funny note, my water aerobic's instructor/former lifegaurd at my school was making us do some pilates stuff in the pool on Thursday, using our weights to hold us into a plank then moving so we were a sideways plank without drowning... it was interesting... I still have enough stomach muscles that I could do it but I lost my grip on the weight and it went flying out of the pool and I went down... thankfully the pool is only 1.5 m!

So I woke up today in time to watch the last hour of the Tour de France, only to fall asleep and miss the ending! Pain in the rump roast!! Now I have to wait until 8 to watch!

I'm also driving to Edmonton tomorrow for a few days, I'll be at my brother's so I'll still be around. It's only a 5 hour drive, but I'm taking my dog so it will be a little longer with bathroom breaks for Marshall. My bro wants to go to Fort Edmonton Park, I have not been there for years, and I want to do some city shopping especially for the classroom, and get my 'uniform' pants (navy, black and brown) for school. Pants only seem to last about a year when you teach primary!

Ok, I should go and figure out what I'm packing, the weather has been so cold/strange that I have to pack for winter/fall/summer/spring conditions. later all!

Okay, so maybe I'll catch up today.

- for Sunny being semi settled in her new place
- for Norla and water aerobics. Ugh ... sounds painful
- at Jayness's need to find a man
- to Al and Chrissy and Kar
- Al, my icon and sig are a part of the Twilight series I've been reading. They are both from New Moon. The second in the series, so far my fave book. I'm about half way through Eclipse, the third novel, right now.

Hm, Kar that sounds interesting. The quote might change my mind and give this series a chance. With the movie hype and all I figured it was just some teenager hype. But the quote is really heartbreaking!

Norla - Enjoy your trip. I mean I´ve just been to France in May but my nerves are on the edge again...damn uni thesis and life...so I´d love to go somewhere as well Maybe in September...

Norla, I stayed up late and finished Eclipse last night. it might be my fave now. I didn't go into the series with ANY expectations other than a few rumors. That it was about a girl and a vampire and a werewolf and I thought she was 'fated' to end with the Vampire. After I read Twilight I figured as much, and was okay with all that. But New Moon made me love Bella and Jacob so much more, as did Eclipse. I have a feeling I won't like Breaking Dawn now

Alexa, I think you need to give the series a chance. It can be very 'teenage-ish' at times, but overall it's fast paced, and heartbreaking. For me, the books are more about the love between Bella and a Vampire and her friendship/love for the Vampire's enemy a Werewolf. Very potent stuff.
