However, I totally understand that temperatures are all relative.... when it's been cold here, 80-something does feel sweltering! However, it was near 100F today We put a small air-conditioner in the side garage where I've kept my baby kittens... it's getting too hot in there.Alexa Oh, you'll get to see those little babies continually grow as I'll spam this thread with tons of pics... and pics of my little Spit, too  I hope you are able to get a dog, then, if you want one  Sunny  Your low-blood-sugar post had me rolling! My little kittens are just growing 1 /12 weeks old here… at 10 days old Their little eyes are trying to open now And they are starting to show different personalities and looks, even though they all still really look alike. I can finally tell them apart   This little baby is the biggest… sometimes I call him “the chunk” or “the dark one” since he has more grey than any of the others   Sis with her favorite little one… he has such personality… notice him hissing at her He has very light, light stripes it looks like… see them on his head. So sometimes I call him “stripey” or “smacky” as he doesn’t really meow…just sorta smacks  For now, I’m calling this little one “snowball” because he is such a fluff ball of white   Me with the tiny runt…. He’s still so small, but he’s feisty! And the first to have his eyes open   Note how small the runt is next to “fatty”  Streeeeetch! __________________ Carol Come visit the Christian thread | |||

| Awwwwww Oh my gosh.... awwwwwww! I wuf the baby kitties!!! You'd laugh at my dog Marshall right now... he's trying to get me to give him a treat, and sounds a lot like a kitty! to Car I knew I'd draw a giggle from you with my 'unbearably hot conditions! We are in day.... 689 of the +30s... ok, really 4 days but it feels like 689! We are to be +32 tomorrow, then a cool down to +29 on Friday. It did try to thunderstorm tonight... but didn't quite do it. I give up... going to get air tomorrow!Ok, I should go, They are doing construction on the front of the Condo, and don't understand that I am on summer holidays and that I don't want to be up at 7:15! Ergo, I go to bed early and then I don't mind quite so much! to everyone.__________________ Go Storm Go! | |||

| Master Fan  | I think we're approaching a crucial stage in the kitty pictures because, in some of them, they don't give me tremendous hibbie-jeebies. The first two, to be specific, so the biggest one essentially has stopped creeping me out. But then, in the rest, they look so tiny... And that "runt of the litter" dude. I mean, I'm sure he'll be cute at some point. But, right now, his eyes are so big, he's kinda freaking me out! And that last one... that belly's too vulnerable. It looks like my arm after they took the blood. But, yeah, some of them I can deal with. Almost. Happy Fourth of July to all our friends down south. Meanwhile, there isn't much to report on this end. I slept like the dead last night only to oversleep this morning. In theory, that should mean I'm feeling all rested, but I'm not for some strange reason. If anything, I'm more tired today than I was yesterday... Bleh. Well, only one more day before the weekend. Next week's gonna seem like it's going on forever, though, after three straight "reduced" weeks. | Happy4th ofJuly! To our American friends! Have fun!! Car Spitty Baby is soooo sweet as well. He looks like he's a bit of a monkey! Marshall puts his paws up too when I try to kiss him! Sunny less heebie jeebies! Have a good day tomorrow! I'm already done week one of holidays... Didn't accomplish much this week... ummm made dinner on Monday... watched the construction at the front of the condo, did way too much shopping... Didn't get the linen closet cleaned, or my shower washed out, swiffed the floor, and took out the boxes for my new computer... Past its 30 day return policy so I figured I could get rid of the boxex... my computer room looks much bigger now!Oh! We finally had rain tonight! Brought the excruciating temp down from 31C to 25C!!!! Felt like a breath of fresh air!! Ok, its already warmed back up to 27, and tomorrow is now to be 32 again... I really am going to get an air conditioner tomorrow! I'm tired of snuggling up to a ziplock bag of ice! Although to Sunny's credit it really does work! __________________ Go Storm Go!
