Thanks for reminding me.

Enjoy your walk and time with your dad. Don't worry about here.

It's going to rain here, too.

No plans for the weekend really. Been outside enjoying the warmth.

Got most of my housework done for the week.

Isn't that when you have the most to do? When you least feel up to it.

About the only thing I've done is play on the OT board, a lot.

Hopefully I'll get to some writing soon.

I haven't done any of my house work!

I've slept like the dickens, which is great, but I've mostly been lounging about after that.

Oh, well, it'll be okay.

It's not like there's an inspection or anything.

It was really sunny when I woke up, but I can tell it's clouding over right now.

It's gotten real dark outside.

I'm guessing the rain isn't far off now.

It's good you got rest.

I'm like that-when I sleep more, I lounge more.

It's like it zaps my energy.

Yeah, there is no rule and no inspection.

Did the rain get there?

The race was so stressful and headache producing yesterday.

33 out of 40 cars were wrecked, and managed to get angry at each other.

I was keeping someone updated, who was away from home, so I watched the whole thing.

I think the rain must have been here yesterday, but I know for sure it was here today.

That's okay.

It wasn't massive amounts.

So all there was left was just a lovely rainy weather that was quite soothing, I have to say.

After sleeping so much and so well all weekend, it's not much a surprise that I had problems sleeping last night.

So a soothing, rainy day was just what the doctor ordered for me.

I'm sorry to hear that the race was stressful.

People getting angry for no good reason is one of the reasons I hate competitions.

It's normal to get that way in the heat of the moment, I suppose, but it does a number to my nerves.

I mean, if that many car wrecked, you have to believe the drivers should have been a little more understanding towards each other.

We had storms, off and on, all day.

Not really severe ones, but storms and lots of downpours.

Well, it was 4 big wrecks, that were caused by drivers being aggressive on the track.

And usually the guy who started it, got away clean.

Sports rivalries carry on a long time in Nascar, and I guess all sports.

It's just the fans, attacking each other, that usually stresses me. It's why I tend to stay off Twitter on race day.

I hope you got some good sleep, and calm, from the rain last night.

It's almost refreshing to hear that the fans are the ones causing trouble.

Like, I would have wondered about the professionalism of the drivers if they lost their good sense over wrecks.

I'm sure it's frustrating to have one, but they would be in a good position to understand why they happened.

And to know that it's a occupational hazard in what they do.

And that they probably caused one themselves, at one time or another.

So, you know, I'd expect them to have cooler heads.

It's still silly that anyone would become so childish over something like that.

I understand rooting for someone and being pissed at circumstances outside their control preventing them from doing well.

But... I don't know... it just doesn't go anywhere, does it?

Oh the drivers do-they get into fights with each other, have rivalries that get out of control, and argue/make threats to each other after races like that.

When a car flips over at 200 miles an hour, or a race accident cuts them out of a championship, they lose it just out of natural reaction.

It's why I like Jimmie-he complains on his in car radio, but he never loses it over anything.

It definitely doesn't go anywhere good arguing with other fans.

I tend to avoid the negativity altogether online. Well, when it comes to competitive sports things.

So what do you and you and your father have planned? Anything specific?

Or will you wait till he's there and decide?

Are you doing anything with your mom for Mother's day?

Karen Glad to have you back. How are you?

Kimmie I think it's normal to have tempers flare in the heat of the moment.

They're only human, after all.

But for the rest of it... I mean, threats? Really?

I would prefer someone more mature and professional, the way you describe Jimmie.

I mean, at the end of the day, they're all in it together, even if it is a competition.

My dad is coming to town to go to the restaurant Friday night for my cousin's birthday.

Saturday morning, we're getting up way earlier than I normally would on a Saturday to go walk up a mountain and then back down.

If I know my dad at all, he'll want to or at least should take a nap when we get back.

Somewhere in there, we'll have to have lunch.

And after that... we'll see.

I could probably get my brother involved. Maybe.

Karen I hope you get some rest.

Sunny it's like any other sports rivalries, so it doesn't always bother me.

It's generally when the same guy (out of 40 on the track) keeps wrecking you. Then they start to take it personally.

I see completely why it would bother you-knowing how you feel about conflict, and want players to be better than that.

Yeah, Jimmie gets a really hard time from fans/drivers because he's too "vanilla"-that 's what they say-he's boring, with no personality.

Me, I like him for his good qualities. I think you're right, about how it's ridiculous how drivers can behave, and especially how fans behave.

Anyway, I didn't mean to say that much stuff.

I hope you and your dad have a good time. I know it's hard having someone in your space for a while.

I hope you have fun at the restaurant party. And on your walk Saturday.

I'm okay. Lungs had been great with new inhaler but this week took its toll.mso I've been very tired, my roommate on the work trip had too much hair spray and perfume, and still used it in excess even when I told her I had asthma. Then Kevin and I burned out brush pile and I mowed so that's killed me lungs

Are you allergic to perfume, Karen? I didn't know that.

Kimmie I'm not super familiar with sports rivalries actually.

At least, none that get so personal and lead to threats.

In hockey and in the little bit that I know about baseball and soccer (which is, granted, not much), there is a difference between when you're playing and when that's over.

Guys will fight, but they get along in real life.

Mind you, when it's always the same guy, it must be pretty easy to just go "well, that's the jerk" and move on with your life.

When someone is going so far out of their way to be a nuisance, people know there's just no point in wasting energy on them, you know?

Plus, majority rules in sport.

More of the good guys to keep the one idiot in check.

I don't understand why anyone would want any athlete or NASCAR driver to be petty and immature.

How demoralizing.

Karen Is there a way to cut down on some of the things you're doing that cause more problems. I am worried.

Sunny threats of getting even on track.

It's generally all talk. It's just you have 40 different drivers and teams all trying to win, and if you have one guy racing you badly, you race him the way he races you.

That's all. It's trash talking, and racing.

I hope your walk goes well tomorrow, and your time with your dad.

I just got back here-we've been in and out all day.

OH please don't worry about me. (Hugs) I was trying to help Kevin last weekend because he was so far behind on his chores. It just was a lot to do. And Sunday was my only day off in that mix. Then busy work week with Fishing May Days and 16 classes a day (when our usual is 3). But I have a three day weekend and I do plan to rest. Outside of my 5k tomorrow. And dads house cleaning.

Sunny, yes most perfume bothers me. There are a few light body sprays I can handle, but over the years it has gotten to where perfume or any heavy scent just gets me to sneezing. And now,I can just feel ,y lungs close up when I get by someone with a decent scent on.

My coworker Kendra quit using her normal body spray for me. She has another scent that doesn't bother me and she'll wear it some. But the kind hat bothered me she saves for home, away from me.

Okay, I will try my best to not worry. Sounds like a lot to do, and wow would all those classes overwhelm me! It must be great for out there though. Good luck on your 5K.

I have enough trouble with perfume, too, Karen, so I can only imagine how bad it is for you.

Up early again here. Did sleep till 4am.
