They sell everything on Amazon it seems.

I'd have never thought of that.

I miss doublemint gum. It was my favorite. In bulk is better cause you don't have to think about it for a while. You have a good supply.

Loopy can be a good thing.

Not much going on here yet.

Getting ready to start decorating the walls in my bedroom when I'm done online.

I can't sleep taking a nap cause the walls are blank and unfamiliar.

Welcome back, Kar.

Kimmie They really do sell everything on Amazon.

It feels a little random to be buying gum on there, though, but it's not like I can just pick it up elsewhere.

I totally would, if I could.

How has the decorating been going?

I didn't do much this weekend myself.

I mean, I got the pasta sauce finally done.

But that's about it.

Not too much to report from vacation. We had a nice time at Broken Bow lake. Got to go out on the lake 3 days, for part of the day. Had some issues with the boat, the trailer and the truck. The boat and truck were easily adjusted/fixed with a battery etc. The trailer tire was another story altogether. Poor Kevin spend one whole afternoon and one whole morning fixing it, the hub and bearings went out. But it is good as new now.

It was a gorgeous place, we went wakeboarding, just relaxing, rode go-karts one morning and I ran mine out of gas ... even kayaked a little bit.

Back to work Saturday. Kinda exhausted me.

Sounds like you had exactly the kind of vacation you needed/enjoy, Kar, and I'm really happy to hear that.

Sunny, decorating is going slow.

Chiropractor is killing my body before it gets better. You know me though, I don't do well having days of pain all over.

I have gotten foam board up, and decorated putting pictures, and cards on those. And decorative stickers.

And I have a random happy balloon floating around in there.

Glad you had fun, Karen. Vacations always seem exhausting.

Sunny, how are things going with you?

Yeah, that is what chiropractors do best: inflict pain. Though, I hear it usually leads to good things.

I hope that's what happens with you.

Things are well with me, Kimmie, but you will have noticed that I wasn't around yesterday.

Tuesday nights are the "cheap" nights at the movie here and you'll remember that I went with a whole group to see a hilarious French movie.

Well, one of my friends was supposed to come with us but, at the last minute, had to cancel because he husband had been "forced" to do some overtime (he works in construction) and she had to go home to take care of their son.

I had told her that, if she ever wanted to go and see it, I'd be more than happy to tag along. Because, you know, it's usually more fun to see a comedy with people.

So, yesterday, she asked if I was up to it.

And I was, so I came home late and still had a lot to do around the house in order to get ready for the day today.

So I'm doing well, but I'm pretty tired today.

Conked out on the couch watching episodes of the UK Who Do You Think You Are online earlier.

And now I've got vegetable soup on the stove for lunches to come.

Other than my rib, I really like the chiropractor. I usually feel my best right after he's adjusted, and then sore later.

I'm doing better now. They gave me samples of a topical treatment and it works really well. REALLY well.

Between that and ice, I'm good.

That was very cool of you to go with her, Sunny. Are you bored with the movie yet, or enjoy it more every time?

Did you eat soup for lunch today? How was it, if you did?

The movie was probably a little less funny this time around, because I could see the jokes coming. At the same time, I understood a whole lot more of the details in it than I had before.

Because, as it turns out, a lot of the dialogue is in "French slang," which I don't understand because my "French slang" is from Quebec. This is a movie from France. It's two completely different languages, in a way.

So there were a lot of slang words I didn't really understand, even though their general meaning was clear enough that it didn't stop me having fun. For example, some words were clearly insults, but I had no idea what they were really saying.

And then there were specific references to French-from-France institutions that rang zero bells.

I didn't notice that I was missing stuff when I first saw it, mind you. I only noticed it this time around because we went to see it in a English-neighbourhood cineplex, so there were English subtitles, which is how I found out about some of the words I hadn't really understood the first time around.

And the soup is pretty good.

I always run everything through the blender at the end, so that it looks pretty dodgy but it unifies the taste.

How are you? Is the pain any less?

I'm so glad you enjoyed it Sunny, cause I'd never been able to understand it, or even kind of get it.

Glad the soup is good.

Pain is pretty rough this weekend. My appointment is Tuesday.

I'm going to buy some of the topical treatment he uses on me.

It has ibuprofen and other stuff in it, and lasts about 8 hours.

Watching some more Revolution Season 2 today I think. I'm on the last eppy of the first disc.

So far, season 1 is still my fave. I know it gets better. Season 2 that is.

Well, I'm glad you have something to at least somewhat take your mind off the pain, Kimmie.

I suppose it's inevitable that you would be in pain, seeing as the herniated disc is affecting your nerve, right?

I mean, any fiddling in the area, even for a good cause, will cause pain.

I hope it's over soon.

So, seriously, all I have to show for this day is a monster pasta salad that I made a little while ago.

And I haven't even tried it yet, so it could be completely gross.

Thanks Sunny.

How was your salad?

I'm watching a Buffy marathon now. Nightmares is on. Kinda creepy. It's in HD now, on a non-HD channel, if that makes any sense.

How are you today? How's the "Monday" of the week?
