I have no idea.

But it was probably another psychological, emotional, trying to get better, trying to decipher the meaning of life but isn't it hard, well yes it is, but that's life... sort of thing.

Okay, well, I think most of that is true.

I just heard from a friend Garry Marshal died.

Is that true?

Yeah, Garry Marshall died about two weeks ago now.

He had a stroke, which brought him to the hospital, where he developed a pneumonia and that's what killed him in the end.

You know, he never really broadcast his health issues.

I remember, a few years back, he had cancer treatments and, basically, I only found out because he wrote about it in his book.

He was a pretty private man.

He was hilarious, kind and intelligent, too.

But he kept a good separation between his private life and his professional one.

That's sad.

He had such an impact on my entertainment life.

I didn't remember he had cancer treatments, if you told me.

I might not have told you about the cancer treatment.

Anyway, it probably had nothing to do with his death.

I was sad to hear he'd passed, too.

But, at least, he lived a happy, long life.

Of this much I'm sure, since it was all over the two books he wrote.

Oh that is always a blessing-to live a happy life.

It's good, given that he added so much happiness/fun into so many people's lives.

He had a really good life.

He married the woman he loved and they were together for decades and decades.

He had three children he loved and with whom he regularly collaborated in his professional life.

He doted on the six grandchildren he mentioned in the books.

He got to make a good living at a job he loved to do.

He actually did many kinds of jobs, professionally, so he was never bored.

And he was surrounded by lifelong friends to the end.

Friends from his childhood, friends he made later in life, friends he made on TV and movie sets.

He seemed to have had a knack for having great relationships with people.

So it's terrible that the world is without his light today, but I don't think he could regret a single thing on his deathbed.

That's awesome.

I'm jealous of his marriage.

I bet he didn't have any regrets at the end-with that quality of life.

And, great relationships, as you said.

That's very important I think.

I think it's super important.

His death is sad for those of us left behind.

But it isn't the tragedy it is when a younger man dies in a shocking and suprising way.

I mean, that's easy enough for me to say, of course.

I didn't know him.

I'm sure his loved ones will feel the loss terribly.

But, for you and I? I think this may be one of the good deaths, you know?

That is very right-it's not shocking, or as tragic, just sad for those of us left behind.

Yeah, they are probably really going to be sad for a while.

I picture them, because of who he was, celebrating his life, rather than simply mourning him.

Just what I picture for them.

This is definitely one of the good deaths.

I think it's the right thing to do.

To celebrate his life, I mean.

He was such a force for good in this world.

He made movies that brought families together and brought joy to the viewers.

So it would be a real shame to have his memory be one of sadness just because it's a memory now.

It makes me happy.
