I can't imagine why he'll be around, but either way it's not his show.



I don't know from other versions, obviously, because this is my first Supergirl.

But from the show itself, I had thought Superman would be quite older.

If for no other reason than he was an adult when she landed as a young teen and he's James's mentor, which implies that he's older than James too.

Now that I think about it, he'll be shorter than James, as well.

Unless they put Tyler on a box or something.

I can't imagine it'll matter all that much either way, since he'll be in one or two episodes at most.

I think it may just be a small appearance each time.

It's kind of silly to me that they cast someone for a small part of the whole story.

Yeah, I think he was in his 20's when she came to Earth.

Though I don't know her mythology either.

She wasn't a lot younger than him on Smallville, so I'm not sure at all.

Hopefully that's all he's in.

Well, for your sake, I hope he's not in it much.

And, for my sake, I hope he does awesome and is in it as much as would be normal for a non-main character who is supposed to live in a whole other city.

It would be fun to see him interact with Lucy, if she's still around, since he's supposed to be in some sort of relationship with her sister.

But I have zero expectation of him being a central figure on the show.

The show isn't about him at all.

I imagine that's how it will play out.

I know Lois and Clark eventually get married.

At least, they did in the show I watched.

And I think that's what happens in some timelines in the original comics as well.

But that's the "end" of their story.

Who knows at what point in that relationship he'll be when we see him.

Ah, I didn't watch Lois and Clark.

I didn't know you knew.

I wouldn't think we'd see them together.

But, they may make it part of the story.

Lois and Clark is the only version of the Superman story I've seen.

Well, with the exception of Man of Steel.

I can't imagine Lois will be any part of the show.

I don't expect her to be.

That's why I was saying it'd be funny.

Who knows what will happen?

I never trust what they say at this point anyway because it's always so misleading.

They want people to tune in.

So they say whatever they need to say to get people to tune in.

Sorry that I didn't, it just ended pleasant on Smallville, so I didn't think beyond what I'd seen.

Yeah, things are always misleading when it comes to TV previews and info any more.

Reruns of season 1 start Monday night.

2 episodes that night.

I'm really looking forward to it, because I missed the beginning of the season, and because it took a few episodes to pay attention when I did start watching.

When will you find out if you'll get the new season?

The repeats won't air on the channel that previously aired Supergirl (Global) since that channel removed Supergirl from its website, circulation, etc. as soon as the season was over.

And no other channel I currently have will air the reruns either since they passed on it as well.

My only hope is to get a CW station when I move to digital cable.

The plan is to get digital cable later this summer.

Probably around mid to late August.

That's when I'll find out if I can have access to a CW station at all and, if I do, if it's affordable.

How much of the season would you miss if you didn't get it till you get your digital?

Oh, that's not so bad, August. You'd have it before the season starts.

I hope you can get one of the stations that carries it.
