So it was the same book. So I can't even tell you if Rosewood aired here, because I never checked. The TV Guide online is still saying that a Rosewood repeat will air on Wednesday at 9pm, so maybe I'll check then. __________________

Thanks for the new thread, and I love the title!
Great description about how you read & finished the book. Thanks for letting me know, cause I'd like to catch up on what I didn't get a chance to see the first time around. __________________

I can't tell you what will wind up being on TV come Wednesday night, though.
TV Guide says it'll be a Rosewood repeat, but who knows. As for devouring books, I have to admit that it's not something I necessarily do very often. But with Milly Johnson, I think the lesson I'm learning now, is that I have to be careful or it's what winds up happening. __________________

It's on here, at 9pm, instead of 8pm, which is when it usually airs.
Empire is on at 8pm. Well, do you want to pace yourself? Rather than devour her books? If not, I say go for it. __________________

It's the same here.
Empire at 8pm and Rosewood at 9pm, instead of the other way around. The thing is, I can't seem to pace myself when reading Milly Johnson books. And, when I'm reading one, I certainly don't want to pace myself. But I also don't want to run out of them. There aren't dozens upon dozens about them. So I need to pace myself starting them if I want them to be more to read after I'm done each of them. __________________

Okay, I was wondering.
Well, it's good you are enjoying them all so much though. Is she still writing? Are they books you'd read again? __________________

She's still writing, Milly Johnson is, as far as I can tell.
And she's not old either, so there's every reason to believe that she'll keep on writing. But it's that thing of not wanting to be sitting around, waiting with bated breath for the next one. Aside from one of the ones that I've read, I will probably wind up re-reading them all. I do that a lot, re-read stuff I've already read. But there is something pretty amazing about knowing I'll like a book I haven't already read. That's not a feeling I get to have all that often. Which is why I'm trying to not just run through all the books too fast. __________________

I hope she does, or you may go chase her down.
I knew you re-read often, I just wasn't sure if you would like re-reading hers. That makes sense. As to why you wouldn't want to rush through her books. I wish you slower reading energy. __________________

I would totally chase her down if I could.
But she lives in England, so even if I was the kind of person who had the nerve to do that, there are geographical reasons why I can't. But I would, if I could. It totally would. Her books are really good and, something that's really important to me, make me feel better about humanity. They cheer me up, you know? __________________

I knew it!
Hm, that would definitely be difficult to do. Books that cheer you up is an amazing thing to have happen. No wonder you enjoy them so much. I think that's awesome for you. __________________

Who knows what I would actually do in the end.
I don't love forcing myself on people. So, you know, I think the odds are good that I wouldn't ever work up the nerve to go up to her. But I do love her books and I love she writes many more of them. Because they're just lovely. And, as I've mentioned before, they do have drama, so it's not unrealistic loveliness. It's good people having good things happen to them. __________________

Probably I'd do the same thing.
It's good she writes realistically, and that things turn out good. __________________

That's the thing.
The point of chick lit is that things turn out good. That's why they're not depressing to read. And that's the appeal of the whole genre. It's awesome that Milly Johnson writes realistically because, when it turns out good, it's just that much more satisfying. Because, usually, there has been some struggle to get there. __________________
