It was. It really was. I was the last hold out. Sadly the state just didnt do a good job with the investigation and even though we all felt the guy commited the crime, because the state messed up...we found the guy not guilty. The evidence just wasnt there.

I'm gonna miss you!!!!!!!

Have fun though. Hopefully some new people will join in!

I've had a miserable week.
A tooth pulling, Joey got chicken pox. My house is a DISASTER. I am disgusted to be in it, but I am too miserable to clean it.

You are still on vacation! Wow. I'm jealous!

I am baby-sitting all week this week, and he is being awful this week. Even his mother called me last night to tell me he was driving her crazy and did I want to come over for ice cream. Non-stop crawling and getting into things and crying....so much crying.....it never ends.

Yep! I had 3 weeks off and I definitely needed them!

So did you guys get moved into a bigger apartment? I went apartment looking today and found one I really like. I've been living at home but figured it was time to finally move so. Gonna go turn in paperwork tomorrow!

Not yet

The last people had trashed the apartment, so I know they had to fix holes in the ceiling, order and replace the doors. Plus the people left a TON of furniture behind because they moved somewhere smaller, so they had to clean it out before repairs were made.
I can't wait to move though.
I'm getting rid of our couches and taking a hand me down couch from my Dad.
I'm trying to downsize. I am so tired of having too much STUFF. I barely have room to walk around. And it always looks messy because there is so much stuff

A new apartment? That's awesome, congratulations. Post some pics when you are settled and I will do the same.

Yikes!! Thats not good! I'd be really mad. I bet the management is as well.

I'm getting furniture from my parents as well. Love seat, rocker, table, dishes, etc. I basically wont have to buy any furniture other than a few lamps and something to set my tv on.

The management is still taking them to court for the $6000 back rent they owe plus damages. She said the apartment is going to cost probably the same amount to fix. I'll have new stuff though, and my own little concrete patio, and a screen door.....I'm still excited. My husband is not. He is not looking forward to moving all the stuff.

It's cool that you don't really have to get anything! I need to get a dining room table and chair set. I have 1 but it only has 2 chairs, which doesn't help much.

Tuesday is my baby boy's birthday, but since there isn't school Monday, we are going to go do Dairy Queen lunch and give him his presents after lunch so he can actually play with them.

Thanks. Sadly my fish (the one I got for my class last year) died yesterday. Was home alone when he died so I had to be the one to flush him. Was a bit sad but not too much.

Awwww!!! Cute toys and sounds like a fun day! The little guy I just got done child sitting for 6 weeks absolutely LOVES anything and everything Thomas related. Hopefully his special day today went good!!

Back to work for me.

Although my day actually went good. We had real fire alarms go off today. Not a drill. My kids did AMAZING!!! I was so proud of them!
