Message Board Closure Notice
 

Hi everyone. At the request of the two moderators of this forum, we've decided to close this board down and move it into the Closed Forums Category, effective January 11. Sarah and Becca have done a fine job to try to keep the discussions going here, but since this show only aired 18 episodes, I can definitely understand and respect the fact that it would be hard to find things to talk about indefinitely. We encourage you to start discussion topics about October Road on the Television Forum here at Fan Forum after this board has closed, so you can continue to discuss your favorite television show here. I sincerely thank Sarah and Becca for their efforts here, and I thank all the people that posted on this board, either in the past or now.

Thank you Jerry. We've had a good run here, but we lost all our posters and Becca and I just feel it too hard to maintain meeting a minimum post requirement between the 2 of us. If any of the old posters stop by. Thank you for making this so much fun for Becca and myself. We wanted to go out on a good note instead of getting shut down for not being able to meet basic requirement.

Any lurkers or posters...this was a hard decision for Sarah and I, but is what we felt was best. We'll get a thread going on the TV board soon so we can continue the conversation over there.

Sarah and Becca - your honesty is very much appreciated. As you say, with a limited number of episodes, there's only so much to discuss. Thanks so much for the effort each of you put into trying to keep this board active.:group_hug:

Thank you for providing a forum here for Roadies, and thank you Sarah and Becca for keeping it going as long as you did. I'll repost the information on the first annual October Road reunion on the ABC.com message board and any other news on the new thread. Oh wow, they are gonna start airing the show here this week so I thought Id check the board out and it seems like its closing, talk about bad timing :eek:

Shucks, they just started airing the show in my country too. Ive seen one episode so far and i really liked it. I was looking forward to posting here too.

Well...here's my goodbye...

First I want to say thank you to all the posters who have come and joined in on the conversations here at the OR Board over the past almost 2 years. It’s been a blast!! I truly enjoyed getting to come here and talk about my favorite show. Whether we debated over who Sam’s father was (I still think its Nick), discussed what Phil and Pizza Girl’s first date “outside” should be, or took sides in Team Big Cat vs Team Nick, I loved every minute of it. Thanks for letting me vent and love on one of my favorite shows.

Sarah….there aren’t enough words to say thank you! OR was my first mod job and I couldn’t have asked for a better co-mod. I LOVED talking OR with you and just general life stuff. You were such a blessing! Thanks for co-modding with me. :hug: :kiss: You’re the best and I love ya! :hug:
