I thought we could post and discuss some of our favorite Christina's performances. It can be from any song, from any album or any duet....just share with us your favorite ones.

Here are mine:

- Fighter SNL performance. Loved everything about this performance from her outfit, to her energy and how with so much emotion she sang the song. Like she was singing to everybody that did her wrong.

- Run To You BET performance. Everyone knows here that I love it when Christina sings Whitney Houston songs and this one has to be the top one. (I'm still hoping and waiting for her to sing 'I Will Always Love You' one day) Again loved everything about this performance, from her outfit to her passion in singing the song. Plus how cool is it that she used to sing that same song back when she was in the Mickey Mouse Club. And was even asked to sing it as a tribute to Whitney Houston.

- Impossible AMA Show performance. I know we didn't get many performances from her singing this song, but this one really stands out. Her voice sounded incredible and again her passion while singing it....is incredible!

- Beautiful Grammy performance. It's even sweeter knowing she won a Grammy for this song, but her performance was awesome! From the choir to her actual performance itself.

- At Last Tour performance. I've haven't really heard many performances of her singing this song so I was excited to hear that she was during her tour. And she did not disappoint, she sang the hell out of that song...especially when she hit that note where she kept going. Simply amazing....

Wow, there are so many but the ones that really stood out for me were:

Beautiful, Stripped tour in London this is the best for me!
It was so great - no - it was amazing! How she came out so simply, with the shirt, jeans and barefoot and sang the hell out of the song was just outstanding. Something about it seemed really special. Plus, it made me cry- I don't know why.. it was magical. Can't really express in words how I felt.

Impossible, AMAs 2003
It was sung so passionately and incredibly! The vocals during that particular performance was over the top! I totally d it!

Tilt Ya Head Back, VMAs 2004
I was so happy to see her back on stage again and for her to deliver such a performace just made my day! The whole new look was/is fab and the dance sequence was great! I enjoyed it so much!

Come On Over (acoustic), Stripped in NYC
The song, her voice, her outfit, her energy and her giggles-in-between was just so pleasing to watch and listen to. This was the first time I ever heard her sing the acoustic version of COOB and it was so nice!

Falsas Esperanzas, My Reflection
It was great and fun! The energy was so high and the dance sequence was amazing! I already loved this song and when she did it live, I loved it even more! Go see the DVD again and you'll know what I mean!

maita, nice choices too. I liked them all.

ITA about her MTV VMA performance as well. It was a while we seen her perform especially after hearing about her throat-vocal problems. But she came even better than anyone expected and nailed her performance.

ITA about her COOB acoustic performance too. She goes to show that she can sing to any type of music and I love that about her.


Another one that stands out for me:

- I Turn To You AMA performance. This performance was so special since it was sorta like a coming out party to meet the new rising star of 2000. And she didn't disappoint, dressed so beautiful almost like a Barbie she sang the hell out of the song. And the crowd was surpisingly pleased by the performance too.

maita, it was really good and Christina really looked like a Barbie with the way she was dressed.

Thanks for starting this thread. I haven't seen many of Christina's performances. Only some that have been translated here and some I"ve downloaded.

Beautiful. Grammy 2004 That's my favorite right now. I was really impressed by her there. It was amazing!

Impossible Stripped in NYC. I've seen only this performance of Impossible. Though, It has been cut really quickly, I still loved it. Her voice was so strong and beautiful. Because of so great reviews of Impossible on AMA 2003 awards, I think, I should download it too.
Btw, I want to ask. I"d love to download her performance of "Walk away". What's the best one? There are so many of them, I can't choose..

Alina, ITA that her Impossibe performance during her 'Stripped' special on TRL was incredible too. Love hearing her voice live and with so much passion.

And definitely dowload her performing Impossible at the AMA's too.

As for her Walk Away performances, I've only heard 2 different versions which was on her Stripped tour and on Dave Letterman show. Both were great but I'll go with the tour one better.

Another special performance that comes to mind is Christina performing 'Genie in a Bottle' on the Jay Leno Show. A very long time ago and she was still very new in the business yet her performance rocked! Plus she was hitting some high notes which were amazing to hear.

I love Walk Away from the Stripped tour, it was amazing, the vocals were incredible and the choreography for the song is perfect, she sings it with so much passion.

I also really like COOB acoustic, I love the way she changed the song

ITA with this right here, I actually had chills when she did this, and for Whitney to make the comment she did... icing on the cake.
