I've heard a lot of people, guys in particular, say that they think Britney Spears is hotter than Christina but in my personal opinion I think everything about Christina is better. Her voice is better, and I'm not knocking Britney... well I kind of am... but her voice sounds so young and under-developed, and Christinas voice is so powerful and she can hit high notes like nothing. Christina can also dance... and I'm sure everyone saw when Britney Christina and Madonna were all dancing... Yuck it made me sick to watch Britney because unless it's choreographed, she doesn't know what to do with herself... she just clapped her hands and stood around... but Christina can really dance no matter if it's choreographed or not...

Don't take my word for it, in your opinion... who is overall hotter and better in all those characteristics?

Well, I see it like this.

Britney has some good qualitys to her. She has some dancing talent. Limited in vocal area. Has her own look to her. Personality could be worked on.

Christina no matter what hair style/color she has (and I think we have seen every possible hair style on Christina.) she looks great. Christina has dancing talent and has an outstanding voice. Great personality and has the sense of humor.

Who is hotter? I'm bias and of course I will say Christina.

Hmm okay, vocally I adore Christina and she is without a doubt miles better than Britney. And I like her personality more, the whole strong, independant and outspoken woman thing is awesome.

But I think that Britney is prettier than Christina. And from what I've seen (granted Xtina doesn't dance as much) Britney is the better dancer.

personnally i think both are pretterier, i like them both but if i had to chose, i would choose britney, not knociking christina, is because i love her dancing and even though some people doesnt like how she sings, heck she even said that she wish she had a better voice.

I think Britney is a good dancer but that's about it for me, I've always preferred Christina. She's a great singer, nice personality and though she doesn't dance much...she can still shake her booty! Plus she sings so she doesn't have time for all that dancing. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Yeah. Without good looks and her dancing, Britney would be a nobody. If you took away those qualitys on Christina, nobody would care. They would still be attracted to her voice. Hell, when Christina turns 40 or over, she'll still be making the doe with her voice.

Yeah! I turelly think Britney is trash I think christina has morals and she doesn't do stuff to get attection she does stuff becasue that's her. plus christina has a much better voice and she'll be around alot longer then Britney.

Let me explain myself more so it won't appear that I'm just bashing or hating. From the beginning when Britney came out first, nothing appealed to me about her whereas when Christina came out I was hooked!

There many things that I like and appeal to me about Christina...from her trouble childhood, latin background, her talent, and writing/music skills.

Trouble childhood:
I can really relate to what she went thru when she was younger and to her song I'm Okay. When I first heard the song, it really hit home for me and I give props to her for not only writing that song but also sharing it w/ her fans. Like she says "And every morning that I wake, I look back at yesterday and I'm OK.."

Latin Background:
And yes she's latin even if she doesn't fully talk the language well. Who does now in days, I'm 100% Latin and have trouble w/ the language myself. I can name alot of other celebrities that don't either and don't get critized as much as she does. I love that she's exploring her latin side and even more how she chose to keep her last name when she was going to debut as an artist. She didn't shortened or change it for anybody, even when people had trouble saying it..she stuck w/ it. Plus people don't have trouble saying it now and she's even getting better at talking spanish. (If you seen SNL then you know what I'm talking about) Can't wait until she releases another spanish album.

Talented:
Take all the lights, dancers, stage stuff and she still amazes you w/ her incredible voice. Plus I more than respect the fact that she sings live all the time. I can't imagine her lip-synching w/ that voice.

Music/Writing Skills:
I love how Christina's writing and music is versatile from partying type of music to encouraging music as well. I admit that I haven't heard all of Britney's music so I can't really judge her music type. But what I mostly always hear from her is party type of music. Whereas Christina gets you dancing w/ party songs too like Dirrty and encourages you to be true to yourself in songs like Beautiful or The Voice Within. Whether in Stripped or her debut album Christina Aguilera, she constantly released songs different from one and another, never staying in the same style. And that's what I like so much about Christina, it isn't about partying all the time.

I don't think I could ever compare Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears to one another. To me, there just like apples and oranges; completely different.

They both have talent, just in other fields.

*Where Christina's an amazing lyricist (can write her own music), Britney's just okay.

*Where Britney's a great dancer, Christina's just okay.

*Where Christina's an amazing singer, Britney's just okay.

*Where Britney's America's sweet-heart when it comes to her beauty, Christina's got this erotic spanish feel to her.

They both have differnet strengths and different weaknesses. That's what makes them so good. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

This wasn't meant to be a "Britney Bashing" board, it's more or less just to see what people think about the two singers. Personally I can't stand Britney Spears and I don't think she has that great of a voice but it's ok because everybody is going to have a different opinion and you don't have to agree with me. I would choose listening to Christina anyday but some people aren't going to agree with me and it doesn't matter because I'm not bashing Britney I'm just saying I don't like her music and I really enjoy Christina's.
