i totally agree about the miss indepedant thing and not just for the fact she co-wrote it. i mean, kelly has a great voice and all, but in my eyes it's a christina song and christina's vocals could have blown that song out of the water. however, i'm still holding old for some sort of duet in which christina does get to do some vocals on mi.

on the subject of other tracks, christina's got a really vesatile voice [as proved on stripped] so i think she could do almost any song and make it sound good.

i'd like to hear her sing jessica simpson's sweetest sin, just for curiosity as they both have excellent vocal ability.

I also agree that Christina would have done a better rendition of Miss Independent if she sang it. Nothing against Kelly, but that's definitely a Christina song. And also agree that w/ Christina's vocal ability and versatility, she can pretty much sing any type of music.

For some reason I've always wanted to hear Christina sing I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. Both have similiar vocal ability and I think it would give a different image for Christina than just being caterogized as pop.

I wouldn't mind hearing a rendition of Amy Lee's Bring Me Back to Life or Going Under. Both have great vocal ability and I can totally see Christina doing more rock songs like Fighter. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Another song I'd love to hear being sung by Christina is Again by Janet Jackson. Love that song and I think Christina would kill those vocals. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]
