Rainstorm, I agree on A League Of Their Own; I like the acting and the playing and I wouldn't appreciate baseball as much as I do now if it wasn't for that movie.
I also loved Searching for Bobby Fisher, a movie about a young chess player. It has a wonderful filmography and great acting. Does anybody know it?  Another movie I recently watched and liked was Blue Crush. It made me want to go to Hawaii ASAP  __________________

I think I saw Searching for Bobby Fisher. If it's the same one I'm thinking about it's about a little boy. I really liked it too.

ALittaM- Blue Crush in a awesome movie. I agree what you said about baseball not being the same without that movie. I just loved how they had girls playing baseball. It shows that girls can kick ass in baseball just like guys can.

I hate watching sports; I find playing them much less boring, but Remember the Titans is one of my favorite movies, with or without sports. The film is just wonderful in all aspects.

Slapshot the original with Paul Newman, awesome movie. Theres some garbage floating around called Slap Shot 2 with Im pretty sure it was a Baldwin brother, do not see this movie, its junk and does not do the original film justice.

Cool Runnings is not only my favourite sports movie but one of my favourite films full stop. It's hilarious and so entertaining.
