Max Payne -- Horrible doesn't even begin to describe it.

I watched the 90s version of Of Mice and Men last night. It was really, really good. I've never read the book but I have read some of Steinbeck's work and this one seemed right on the money with his chracterizations of people. Gary Sinise was actually kind of hot in this movie hehe. He portrayed George wonderfully and did a great job directing too. The story was great and John Malkovich was amazing as Lennie. The ending is now though one of in my opinion the most heartbreaking moments I've ever seen but I loved the movie all the same.

I watched 9 the other day. It wasn't so good atleast i didn't see anybody saying 9 was good. But i liked the animation stuff and it was interesting to see how the toon moved around everywhere. lol.

I am planning to watch Sorority Row either today or tomorrow I know it is online. The trailer on youtube is so awesome. So i am not going to miss it.

My Sister's Keeper It was too chlichéd.
Spoiler:
We have the father who works as a firefighter. We have the mother who worked as a lawyer. We have the brother who has also problems, but he doesn't get any attention because of his sick sister and his other sister who has to donate everything. We also have the lawyer who is an epileptic and wants to do the case because he knows how it is to have no power over your body. Oh, then we have another person who has cancer and he falls in love with the other cancer patient. But don't forget the judge (and I don't mean the dog, because the dog rocks), because she knows how to suffer since her daughter died in a car accident or something like that. Well, we have so many clichéd characters and stories. And they try to tell a story with all those characters and to tell their story, but they just scratch the surface and don't go deeper. And that's sad. Because the intersting stuff, imo the brother, gets almost forgotten. And I still don't like movies about cancer just because of the fact it cannot represent how it must be to live with such a disease or to be a family/friend of a diseased person.

I've started to watch Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken or in English Love in Thoughts. I just love August Diehl and I think he's one of the most talented person alive

I made the decision to not see My Sister's Keeper because I knew the movie wouldn't be able to capture the book at all. I figured it would just skim the surface of each character and not show anything else about them. Glad to see I wasn't wrong in that decision.

Max Payne was one of the worst movies I've ever seen! Even my husband, who normally loves crap movies like that, was ready to walk out of the theatre.

I watched Bride and Prejudice and I liked it. I like what they did putting a Bollywood spin on Jane Austin. I've always been interested in the India culture. It's on my list of places I wish to visit someday.

I watched Wolverine (I'm sure it has more to title--can't think right now): Pretty decent. Can't wait for the Ryan Reynolds movie though.

My mom keeps hinting that she wants to see Love Happens---I'm always just like "Oh, really?" and change the subject. I love my mom to pieces but I just can't sit through a film like that for her.

I would do the same! Haha!

I watched Quarantine and I need to see the original which I've been postponing forever. Quarantine was pretty good, but Jennifer Carpenter REALLY annoyed me at the beginning with the cutesy act and by the end her screaming was getting on my last nerve. Heh. Still a decent thriller.

500 days of summer, which sucked! i'm rather stunned by all the good reviews it got too. it's like people will settle for anything that seems the slightest bit different than the millions of other crappy films people push and call it good to balance out the really bad crap from the sorta bad crap. don't get me wrong, i liked the first half hour or so, but it just went completely downhill from there. the ending was possibly the worst part for me. seriously, when would that ever happen? it's not a coincidence, it's bs!

I haven't seen the movie (and can't personally say if it applies or not) but what you said above is SO true for so many movies! Anything that seems different is suddenly the next coming.

Away We Go - Lovely little film. Didn't expect it to be that touching in the end.
