Hi, I was recently inspired by reading Picutres at a Revolution to watch some oldish movies. I wrote about it here. Please come to read and discuss.

The Time Traveler's Wife - Just amazing! Interesting ending, but I loved most of it. You guys should see it.

Maria, ihm schmeckts nicht Christian Ulmen is cute and I wanna hug him all the time. But the whole movie was...eh...like they wanted us to show how to threat foreigners right. And because I don't see why we shouldn't the moral didn't make much sense imo. The end was a little easy, but it's based on a book so it isn't the movie's fault

I watched Penelope on my Netflix Instant Queue last night. It was adorable! James McAvoy=hot in this one! hehe I didn't like much in Atonement but here he was great. Christina Richie and Reese Witherspoon were really great too. It's a great story for kids to watch and a sweet lovestory for older watchers. I loved the kid at the end about how it's about the power you give a curse. Awww.

I know right? James McAvoy is fine as hell! I just love his accent. God, it's so sexy!

(500) Days of Summer, the most interesting and unusual 'rom com' I've seen in a long time, maybe even ever! Quirky, uplifting, and saddening, beautifully made! I recommend everyone go! It's not so great at reaffirming people's faith in love and destiny though, beware!

I saw Inglourious Basterds last night. Review here. The most minor spoilers you can imagine.

Notting Hill - I watched this movie when it came out 10 years ago, and I'm sure I rewatched it many times when it aired on tv, but I hadn't seen it in a loooooong time like, years. Today I rewatched it, and to be honest....I don't even know why I used to like it so much anymore, it's so cheesy and some lines really aren't that good......I mean, I still sort of like it, but definitely not as much.

I find that happening to me all the time---a movie I used to like is suddenly not so good. I guess it's because you relate to something in it at a certain time in your life or because of your age.
