I loved the book so much and I loved the character of Amy even more, so when I heard they were making it into a film who they cast as Amy was a really big deal. It could have been Reece Witherspoon and no disrespect to her she's a good actress but I could not see her as Amy. Luckily they cast Rosamund and although I knew her name I didn't know any of her films, but she blew me away, she could not have been better cast, she brought Amy to life in a way I don't think anyone else could, terrific performance.

Thanks for this! I love Lily Tomlin, very much enjoyed her in the Netflix series "Grace & Frankie" recently.

On Pari's recommendation, I last watched the British comedy "Death At A Funeral." Hilarious! Alan Tudyk steals the show (imo).

Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - 9.5/10 - loved it! All my ships got together/stayed together. Dame Judy and Dame Maggie were wonderful as always!

The Flintstones (1994) - 8/10

The Golden Dream- about 3 Mexican youths who try to cross the border to America in hopes of a better life. Captured the landscape well, and the young actors were great, shows how treacherous it is for these people who just want a normal life particularly relevant what with the refugee crisis in Europe at the moment.

The Double- doppelgänger type film with Jesse Eisenberg, very dark and quite strange but weirdly funny.

We Are Your Friends-I've been a Zac Efron fan since High School Musical...

and he was so excellent I really loved this movie! I hate how underrated it is and how people talk about how much it bombed..it makes me sad b/c I really thought it was outstanding! Besides Zac...there was another reason I wanted to see it...Max Joseph! I love him on Catfish and I was so proud that he was able to do a feature film...I love his directing style! Such a great movie...really...awesome music and it has real heart! Highly Recommended!
